Located in heart of Pioneer Square. The neighborhood is a richly historic place known for its late-1800s Romanesque Revival architecture, art galleries, coffee shops and trendy bars -Two story studio with private deck -Private patio with plants, seating, and view of the city -Rooftop views of the bay and mountains -Vaulted Ceiling -Private bathroom & kitchen -10 min. walk to Pikes Place
TAKE NOTICE: This unit is on the top floor and as I'm sure you've heard the phrase "Heat Raises" before, that is definitely true for this building. Thus, the upstairs gets HOT during warm weather & there is NO A/C in the unit. In order to remedy this problem, you can open the fire escape door (in the upper level hallway ceiling) and open the patio door. This will allow the heat to escape from the building. PLEASE READ: With the recent pandemic, Pioneer Square and downtown Seattle in general has seen a dramatic increase in the homeless population. While I personally have not witnessed any crimes and have never had a problem with any of the individuals living on the street, it could be quite overwhelming for someone that hasn't witnessed homelessness in Seattle before.

  • A nice place and good host, although the neighborhood is a little subpar

    Chris2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great and modern space. Well thought out. Clean. Perfect for going to games or hikes through fun neighborhoods with coffee shops, history and good restaurants. Super easy access to get there and other locations of the city. It’s just in front of Link station (International/Chinatown), above ground trains and buses. Great views. Rooftop patio with grill and tv. I’ll be back. :)

    Dan2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was great. Very clean and location was great if you are going to the stadium.

  • Quick, easy access to trains and many food options near by.

    Scott2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This space is incredible. So clean, so modern, and the way the interior is designed makes use of high ceilings and sleek designs. I was also pleased to find that there is in-unit washer/dryers which came in very handy when my clothes got soaked in the Seattle rain, as well as when I came back from a BBQ and smelled like charcoal. My wife and I would definitely consider staying here again. You are walking distance to so many highly rated local cafes, asian restaurants (some of the best Chinatown spots are a block away), and Uwajimaya the Japanese grocery store 2 blocks away took care of all of our snack, drink, and fruit needs when we weren't going to restaurants. A note about parking. Keep in mind that this is in a very busy area especially during work days, so unless you are planning on paying the $20/day to use the building's garage parking, expect to move your car and pay the meters every 2hrs between 8AM - 8PM. I come from San Francisco, so Seattle is honestly tame compared to that parking environment, but it can interrupt your relaxing vacation to have to think about parking every 2 hours. On the bright side, I had zero issues finding a spot every night within 2 blocks. And Sundays parking is free. Just something to think about. Would definitely come here again! Just a great looking and comfortable spot.

The apartment features an ironing board, kitchen table that is ideal as a workstation, baseboard heat, free high speed WIFi, and a flat screen TV with a Firestick and HDMI cable. The bathroom features an oversized tile shower with shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser.
  • This is an amazing place near Pioneer’s Square in Seattle. There are good restaurants near by and everything that you need is within walking distance. The apartment is great, clean, spacious. There is a small kitchen, nothing fancy. The only problem is the truck garage on the alley, right in front the room. There is a beep that never stops in the morning. Other than that, the place is amazing.

  • An excellent and convenient location to stay at when exploring downtown Seattle. The room is located right next to the light rail and couldn’t be easier to get to coming from the airport. Thanks!

  • Great location! Within a mile of almost everything we wanted to see, so we walked most places. Similar to other reviews, location does not seem the safest at night but I would say I was only uncomfortable walking in late. Otherwise, the place was really cute and clean and had way more amenities than I realized! Awesome value!

    Savannah2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you very much! Your home is in a great location, within walking distance of the city center. This is one folding beds in the main hall of the Temple. You will be sharing space with others and the Buddha's. The beds are separated by Shoji screens for privacy. The kitchen and bathrooms are shared with the other guests and facility manager.
The space is the main hall of a Buddhist Temple. This is the traditional way that pilgrims and travelers enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. We also now have a new shower.
We are located in the historic Seattle Chinatown. Lots of great food and entertainment. These are the streets that Bruce Lee once walked.
  • Mike was a great host. Open for conversation and directions, also willing to let you do your thing without interruption. A comfortable open minded space. Comfy bed and great location. Would stay again.

  • This is a great place, well attended with thoughtful and friendly worshippers willing to part you with peace, knowledge, and light. Not to mention the Money you save staying here. The location is right off the link and 3 blocks from the stadium. Just great. I was the only guest at the temple, so it was pretty much private. The cot was comfy and supported my 6’5” frame well enough. I would absolutely return, and make more time to stay for tea

    Steele2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for an overnight layover. Right next to King Street Station and the light rail to the airport. It's a modest little bed in a room divided by screens as described.

    Stephanie2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • It is exactly what it says it is. Mike and Gabriel are very gracious and kind. The place is clean and the people staying there are cool. Since it’s in a Buddhist temple it has a very unusual appearance if you’re used to just living in an apartment. But it has such a positive and warm energy about it that it is very inviting. I had a wonderful time and I would certainly go back again and again as needed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an experience that’s a bit off the beaten path, but on a certain level is as old as time itself, somewhat communal and definitely interesting. The people of the place and the location are all great. Anytime I’m in Seattle I would stay there.

    Chris2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Going out was actually easier than you might expect. They are very accommodating. You'll get a set of keys if you want to go out and it doesn't matter what time you get back, just be quiet a bit. Since this location is a 10min walk to the clubs, it's not a bad place to crash for 1 night. However like the other reviews, rise and shine is 830am sharp.

Located in the heart of historic Pioneer Square, where local coffee shops and award-winning restaurants literally sit below you. Walking distance from Pike Place Market and downtown. Short cab ride to The Space Needle. 5min walk to waterfront and ferry terminal to Bainbridge & Vashon island. Guests 21yrs and up.
Respectable adult guests only. No pets, parties or smoking. Also, walking up and down the the fire escape is prohibited
I love the old brick buildings and romance of Pioneer Square. This is sort of where Seattle all began and it's so unique to any of the other Seattle neighborhoods. It used to be a more shady neighborhood but has recently become a rather shi-shi area, with several modern restaurants and apartments/condos. The vibe is adult, artistic, hip and friendly. There is a range of bars and restaurants from divey, to fancy fireplace and cocktails-- most of which boast exposed brick and high ceilings. Pioneer Square is also close to the sports stadiums so you can experience the high energy on game-days, of the game-goers. Also, near the water, it is a step away from the ferry terminals (including the Victoria Clipper-- routinely going to and from Canada for day trips). Basically, it is the greatest place to stay when visiting Seattle, whether it's your first time or routine visit.
  • This is a very stylish and comfortable place. The only complaint that I have is the need for a larger fan and the glass coffee table that we were frequently bumping into. Those things aside it is a great location and I will consider staying here again.

  • This apartment in the city was so charming! We loved the history of the place, the location and the thoughtful touches like DVDs, earplugs and tea. The bed was in great condition and hot water was plentiful. This place is right in the city which means it was noisy all night long. Also, be aware there are quite a few homeless people with mental illness in the area. I never felt unsafe, but I did feel heartsore for them. If you are looking for a gorgous, historical, stay IN the bustle of the city, this place is perfect. We are happy we stayed there for our anniversary ❤️

    Susan2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here during the week while in town for an event. The loft is very cozy, lights were on and ready for us when we got there. Communication was very quick too. Much better that staying in a hotel for sure!

Nestled between Capitol Hill nightlife, the international district, adjacent to downtown, & surrounded by restaurants, this apartment is the best spot to explore Seattle or settle down for a month. A LEED Platinum building & solar assisted, it's a small apartment of 204sf, set up with a double bed and a bunk bed. Complete with essentials like towels, hair products, and hairdryer. Wifi, microwave, fridge, hotplate. The building is about ecological urban living in the heart of Seattle.
This clean simple 2nd floor(no elevator) ergonomic 204 sqft (19sqm) studio Apartment, is all about minimalism and sustainability in an urban location and at an affordable price. I do my best to conserve on water, energy and to reduce waste through composting and recycling. Please place your trash and recyclables under the sink, you'll also find a composting bag tied to the sink drain. While it is ideally set up for 2 people, if you want to fit in more than 2 guests, it will be little cramped, just let me know, so I can at least provide everyone with a towel and extra blankets. Furnished with a double bed with a 6-inch green tea mattress atop it and a full-size bunk bed. Things you should know -there is only one sink and the kitchen is what you see in the photos. Set up with a hot plate and some basic cooking utensils. -Must climb stairs, the building does not have an elevator 2nd floor apartment -strict quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, it’s just not the best sound insulated building. So I have to in-force this. -there is only 22 inches clearance between the bunk bed and the ceiling. I have no problems climbing up, but be warned that it is best for agile people who like cozy sleeping areas. -What it means to be eco, first it starts with a Leed platinum construction. Solar assisted heating and energy production, Rainwater capture, a goal of zero plastic waste(not there yet), reusability as in for instance besides toilet paper we don't use paper towels but rather washable cotton hand towels and low water wash eco bath towels. Everything that can be recycled or composted is, I'd appreciate your help in this by placing these disposable items under the sink in the correct spot eg compost, recycling & trash bags found there.
The place is next to Seattle University. I use the track to run in the mornings. Location is in the Capitol Hill/First Hill neighborhood, which has lots of great restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from downtown (Pike Place Market) and is centrally located in Seattle so it is a quick trip to visit Queen Anne, South Lake Union etc. If you like museums, the apartment is close to the Frye Art Museum which has no entry fee.
  • Perfect location, complete amenities, total privacy, outstanding host, easy check-in. Great deal all around, 10/10.

  • Magic was a very accommodating host. The apartment is quaint but nice and looks just like the photos. The check-in instructions were very detailed and this was helpful as we arrived late. I would recommend Magic’s place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, eco-friendly, no frills place to stay in Seattle.

    Darian2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • I had an excellent stay at Magic’s place! He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and put in extra effort to get the place ready when I asked for an early check-in. He went the extra mile and the place was incredibly clean (spotless), plus close to downtown. This has been one of my favorite stays ever.

    Dan2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! We needed to go to the convention center everyday and this place was in a good location to walk there easily without paying downtown hotel rates. The room was tight but workable. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Just note that if you’re taller than 5’9”, the bunks are going to crunch your feet because they cannot hang off the end- the wood frame blocks that, and if you are wide/have large hips, getting through the narrow entry on the top bunk requires a bit of flexibility and rotation so you don’t also hit your head on the ceiling. There are USB ports on the top bunk so you can charge your devices! Checkin was a breeze but the multiple gates/access points/stairs did make maneuvering with a lot of heavy luggage very difficult. But the provided checkin instructions made it very clear where we needed to go and how to get in. Overall great place to stay.

Charming, one-of-a-kind bedroom in the heart of historic downtown Pioneer Square available for a central home base for being a tourist, attending a convention, or game days! Built in 1890, the Nord was originally a small downtown hotel for loggers and miners that worked on the hill (now Yesler Way). It has brick walls, high ceilings, and all the eclectic charm that comes with a historic building. (Note: There is no elevator in the building. This is a second floor unit.)
The two-bedroom apartment has a private bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and full access to the rest of the apartment, including the kitchen and beautiful picture windows that overlook First Avenue. There is plenty of window-watching, especially on game days, when fans parade down First Avenue on their way to the stadiums, or just viewing the excitement of downtown Pioneer Square. There is also full access to wi-fi and television with Amazon Prime and Sling if you're not busy exploring downtown Seattle. Everything is in walking distance, including Pike Place Market, the International District, the harbor, museums, aquarium, sculpture park, exceptional shopping, the Washington State Convention Center, and overwhelming options for food and drink. And of course, the stadiums if you are here for a game. There is no need for a car. It is a quick walk to the light rail to the airport or the Amtrak station, and the streetcar runs approximately every 15 minutes and is right outside the backdoor. Very convenient if you don't walk to walk with bags from the station and if you want to explore beyond downtown. Please note: The apartment is located in a very vibrant and exciting neighborhood. There will be city noise, especially on weekends and weekend evenings. This space is also a home. Although you will probably rarely see us during your visit, my senior pup and I consider it our downtown home. It is very charming, but the apartment is not hotel-perfect, and has some loving wear-and-tear on furniture and details. However, your room should be beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and you can contact me at any time if it is not and you have problems or questions. Your pup is welcome if well-behaved and not a barker (it is a very small building) and for a $15 per night fee. Happy travels, and welcome to Seattle, wherever you choose to stay!
You are in the heart of historic Pioneer Square with easy access to stadiums, downtown, Pike Place Market, and the waterfront. Plenty of public transportation and rideshare available, so no need for a car! Link rail to the airport and Amtrak is a close walk away.
  • Very conveniently near all modes of transportation and walking distance (about 12 minutes) to Pike Place Market and the Nordstrom Monorail stop where we boarded to get to Space Needle. Overall a nice and comfy stay with a great street view of Pioneer Square!

  • Peggy was very friendly during my gf and I's stay. We enjoyed being in a great location, and had everything we needed within walking distance (coffee, shopping, sightseeing.) The place has character, but we both felt as though Peggy could easily charge more for how close we were to everything. Would absolutely stay here again in the future if we visit Seattle again.

    Josh2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy’s place is beautiful and the location is perfect. I felt safe staying there as a solo female traveller - will be back as soon as I can!

1 bdrm apt downtown, walking distance to stadiums, waterfront, light rail, train station, ferries & museums. Fully furnished, w/a desk, full kitchen & dining table. For parties larger than 2, the couch is super comfortable and there is a queen aerobed. In the heart of the historic International District-the vibrant Asian part of downtown, a great coffee shop, Chinese food, Poke w/Hawaiian shave ice, the best-ever boba & a vegetarian pizza parlor are basically all downstairs.
This top floor apartment has old Seattle charm, with high vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls. The bedroom is blocked off by a shoji fan. There are a few quirks as one should expect from an old building like this (i.e. the hallway outside the apt has a leak in the ceiling, we use a cozy space heater for the living room as the central heating is loud and faulty, and sometimes you can smell cigarette smoke out in the hallways of the building because some of the other residents smoke in their units. We lived there for 2 years and LOVED it but you should know this is not some brand new condo with brand new appliances. This is a tastefully decorated inner city apartment that you can get to just about anywhere from very easily. The living room has an amazingly comfortable sectional sofa, a 60" tv and 5.1 surround sound speakers. There is a full bathroom and a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and dining room table. It's really fun to watch the action on the street below from the three big windows in the living room. There are often parades and carnivals that come right up the street with dancing dragons and martial arts performances.
The International District or 'The I.D.' is a vibrant part of Seattle. Great food is everywhere, you can walk to food and shops and public transit, and there is often something fun going on in the neighborhood!
  • Historic residence in an important and central part of Seattle.

    Jessica2019-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and on top floor so very quiet. Cool place.

    Nate2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a quick getaway to Seattle and Seahawks game. We loved the quirky old building and amenities were fine. So many great dining options close by it was hard to choose! Naomi was great to communicate with and offered lots of suggestions. We found a parking lot nearby, a little pricey but not surprising on a game day. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again one day.

    Cari2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay at this funky spot. Great vibes and such a comfy couch!

    Darcey2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment with a great location! Very close to the rail station and walking distance to the sports stadiums. Good food nearby too!

    Derek2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little place! Great if you want to be in the Chinatown area! Tonnes of Chinese food just steps from the place! Laundry services available in the building, same floor but not a private one in the unit. Kitchen is equipped with necessities to cook or use. Most of the necessities in the whole unit seems to be from previous stayers that just left behind shampoo, conditioners, etc but seems like the host didn't put any. Host is very accessible, was able to drop off my luggages before check-in. Sent a very helpful list on everything you need to know, food, bars, etc. She is also available via text with any questions you have and will answer fairly quickly! Overall great place, would stay again!

    Wendy2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down my favorite stay yet. Awesome space, super convenient, and easy check in. We also visited a bunch of naomi’s recommended spots, and they were all awesome! 10000/10 would book again.

    Gabrielle2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Naomi was incredibly responsive which made check in a breeze. Apartment building is definitely older and a bit sketchy but the space itself was very cozy. Great location in walking distance to just about anywhere you would need.

Modern and lofty one bedroom apartment in new trendy building in up and coming Pioneer Square. This building is near CenturyLink and T-Mobile Stadium, Occidental Park, plenty of walkable bars, restaurants and historic sights.
High concrete ceilings, hardwood floors, a king size bed, and tall bright windows gives you a city experience with those little extras that make a city stay as comfortable as possible.
Pioneer Square was the original heart of the city in Seattle’s early days. Now more than a century later, the historic neighborhood is bustling once again with historic brick buildings, notable restaurants, unique shopping boutiques, and tourist attractions. In the area, you can enjoy food trucks in Occidental Park just about daily, Seattle's underground tours happen nearby and a visit to the Temperance bar atop the Smith Tower is a must. The Central Light Rail Station is about a 5 min walk to and from the unit, so a car or Uber isn't necessarily needed. The rail line runs between the University of Washington, downtown Seattle, the SoDo district (home to CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field), and SeaTac Airport. Common spaces are located on the 5th floor and Rooftop levels. Feel free to explore and check out the amazing views the building has to offer. Just please continue to stay discreet about your Airbnb stay and refrain from asking other tenants, building managers and security how to find your way as they cannot help you.
  • Alex was a fantastic host! He made sure I was able to check in ok and followed up with tips on things to see & do in and around the apartment. The apartment was conveniently located to Pioneer Square and downtown Seattle, which made getting around super easy. The apartment featured a generous sized master bedroom with a king-sized bed, with a full-sized ensuite bathroom and second bedroom that could easily accommodate up to 4 people. It featured a fully equipped kitchen (including a keurig coffee maker), washer & dryer in the unit and a comfortably oversized sofa in the main living area. The main living area and master bedroom had huge windows, which allowed for a ton of natural light and nice views of the surrounding area. Initially I was a little hesitant about privacy and noise but found the apartment & building to be very quiet and secure. I needed to extend my stay an additional night and Alex graciously accommodated my request and even offered to extend the check out time the following day if needed. Overall my experience and stay was fantastic and wouldn't think twice about booking with Alex again. Thank you!

    Kristin2020-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfy, and beautiful just as advertised! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Seattle, or just want a little get-away from home. Alex provided very detailed check-in and out processes which benefited the stay! Great value considering the overall unit and location. Enjoyed my stay! 10/10 😌

  • This was our first Air BnB stay, and I was so happy we chose this place! As for the place, super chic and clean! The pictures are exactly what you see, so I was happy with that too! Price was good and reasonable. Alex was very responsive, communicative, and accommodating! We wanted to stay one more night, so Alex was accommodating with the price! Would stay again and recommend to others! :)

  • Alex was a great host and condo was amazing. The unit was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the unit was really stylish. The condo is very close to the stadium and you can can actually see inside of CenturyLink field from the roof. The stay was more than what I expected. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the place to anyone.

    Linda2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Alex is a very responsive and accommodating host! This space was beautiful, well located, and had everything we needed. The building amenities were an added bonus! We really enjoyed our stay here!

    Trinity2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Plenty within walking distance. Other must-sees are a short Lyft/Uber away. Buses and rails run in the area as well. Host is very responsive. Self check in and check out are very easy. The building is quiet, hardly saw or heard the other residents. Also didn't have any noise issues with the stadiums next door, even with events the entire weekend.

    Christopher2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place is both beautiful and in a perfect location near Pioneer Square. We could walk to nearly everything we needed. Alex, the host, was great to work with. It was a painless experience from the time we booked till we checked out. Definitely staying here again on our next Seattle visit.

Charming apt near the Stadium District, Pioneer Square, and International District. Public transportation is nearby including the King Street station, Amtrak, light rail, street car, and buses. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The apt is in an older building, not a recent high rise.
Walking distance to the Stadium District and Pioneer Square. A grocery store is blocks away with lots of restaurants and events happening in the neighborhood. Lots of public transportation options to get around on - Lightrail, Sounder Train, Amtrak, streetcar, public buses.
  • Great location, cute apartment, and terrific host. Dennis's instructions were super easy, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location was great too- super easy to get around all over Seattle, and within walking distance to Pioneer Square and downtown, and a short ride to the airport. Would gladly stay here again.

  • Great location and good value. Dennis responds quickly. The area in the international district is walking distance to pioneer plaza, the harbor and a little longer walk to Pikes Market. Very comfortable accommodations in a historic building. The apartment could use a little updating. The rugs are a little stained, but the apartment is clean.

  • This place was perfect for what I was using it for. I had gotten a new job in Seattle but hadn’t got an apartment yet and it was great to come home and make myself a meal after a long day and just relax. Perfect size for 1 (or 2), perfect location, perfect stay!

    Ruben2019-10-22T00:00:00Z

This is a spacious studio with a queen bed and leather futon sofa (twin), fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and closet space. Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, this studio apartment is in the perfect spot for venturing all of Seattle's favorite lively areas; Belltown, Capitol Hill, Pioneer Square, and the International District. Within walking distance are tons of cafes, restaurants & lounges, shops, and nightclubs are a quick uber ride away!
  • I really enjoyed my stay in Rose’s apartment. It was more spacious than I expected and it was great to have kitchen facilities. An excellent location and easy to walk to anywhere in the cbd. I would stay again.

  • Had a very comfortable stay here!

    Raymond2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a very convenient location. We walked to many sites in Seattle or had a quick Uber ride when too tired. The couch/futon did not seem large enough for an adult but the queen bed was comfy. Dishes, coffee, even a tea pot are there. Happy to see a bottle opener after we walked home with bottles of beer. I’m glad I wasn’t trying to park on that hill but no Uber driver had a problem. Cute, clean place with everything you need.

    Karen2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cute, clean, and great location! Host responded to my questions in a timely manner and was flexible with check-in time. Would definitely recommend her place as it is walking distance to a lot of popular attractions.

    Norma2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This location is great, close to downtown. There is also plenty of street parking if you chose to rent a car. Rose is a great communicator and the place is clean and tidy. The only downfall is the building is older and the hallways smell like smoke.

This is studio #17 - a private guest room designed as a simple & affordable space for arts-related guests near the heart of Seattle's downtown gallery district. But you don't have to be an artist to stay here - all are welcome!
**Please click on "read more" and read everything below before booking** Our place is a bit unusual and we want to be sure it's a great match for your style of traveling. Please read all details below, plus the house rules so you don't miss anything that might really matter to you once you get here. You'll have this private room all to yourself. It's located among a group of art studios on the second floor of a commercial building. We're in the Japantown area of Seattle's historic International District, a few blocks east of Pioneer Square and the sports stadiums. The bed has a luxurious Novaform queen mattress & very comfortable fresh bedding. We also provide towels, extra pillows & blankets, bath robes, and other amenities. Free wifi and satellite tv w/HBO are included. We recently finished a major remodel of the room, which is why there’s a gap in our reviews. So yes if you've stayed here before this is the same place, but even better! There's only one guest room now, and the guest bathroom is now private, just for you. ~~~~~~~~~ important notes: • There's a private bathroom with keypad entry just outside the room dedicated only for our guests. You'll need to step out into the hallway to reach the bathroom, but it's just a few feet away. • This is not a room in an apartment building - the other rooms on the floor are artist work spaces. The room is quiet and the artists don't live here. • The room has a skylight, and no other windows. It has a mini-split hvac unit for air conditioning & heat. There's also a ventilation exhaust fan on the ceiling which will clear out stale air and draw in fresh air from the hallway as needed. • There is a long flight of stairs to get up to our floor (no elevator). • Our listing is a little unusual and we want to be sure it's going to meet your needs before you choose to book it. Please send us a note with the secret code word TEDDY (that's our dog) - this will let us know you hung in there and read the whole thing. • Also before booking make sure your user i.d. profile is complete, including a good clear photo of you. It helps with security in our building to be able to identify guests. Thank you!
This is a fun & interesting international neighborhood with lots of quirky shops and tons of food choices - including a great sushi restaurant right in our building. There's quick take-out to high end, and everything in between. Uwajimaya Asian specialty supermarket is close by, plus coffee shops & bakeries - you won't go hungry in this neighborhood! • Check our online Guidebook to see all the great restaurants & attractions we've bookmarked in our neighborhood. We also have a guidebook in the room when you arrive with some of our favorite spots nearby for food, plus maps and other details. • We're just a few blocks from the baseball & soccer/football stadiums. There are many bars and clubs within walking distance, and even more just a quick bus ride away. Since the building is right downtown you can also easily visit the Seattle Art Museum, Sculpture Park, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and many other great Seattle attractions. • Please note that we're right next to the Pioneer Square neighborhood, which tends to have some homeless people on the streets. Along with the conveniences of being right downtown - great public transportation & cool places to visit - this is city life and we don't recommend walking around by yourself late at night.

  • This was such a beautiful spot and PERFECT for our girls weekend! I just wish I would’ve known how hard parking would be to find! Other than that, WAS INCREDIBLE.

    Brittney2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent spot right in the heart of pioneer square with excellent coffee cafes, restaurants and shops all around. Yes there is noise, but noise is what I expect in an active urban environment. Earplugs were provided as a nice courtesy by the host for those bothered by noise.

  • Kelly's place is in the best location. Tons of great restaurants and bars nearby and walking distance to several other cool districts like Chinatown and Pike Place Market. The apartment is comfortable and stylish. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • This place is AMAZING!!! Kelly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!!!! Such a great area with a fun vibe! Was perfect walking distance to Century Link Field and Pikes Market! Kelly gave us amazing restaurant recommendations!! We are already itching to come back!!

    Tayllor2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute spot, the record player/bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. It was great for my needs, as I was taking a class nearby and it was walking distance. Definitely take them seriously when they say it's a noisy city spot though! You hear everything outside as if the window is wide open. Live music every night of the week in the bar next door. Lots of alley activity at night. Definitely an interesting experience but if you're not used to city sounds, it's a culture shock. Other than that, fully outfitted kitchen (with coffee maker) and very well-lit bathroom. Walking distance from my favorite grocery store Uwajimaya. I was very comfortable and felt at home by the end of my 2 week stay.

    Madeleine2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly’s place was great! It was only a short walk to pikes, the wheel, and the space needle ! It was very trendy and I would love to come back!

  • Kelly’s place was the perfect home for my boyfriend and I to get away . We spent most of our time outdoors but coming back to our temporary home during our stay felt nice and homey. We were located right by all the major attractions we wanted to visit. Will definitely rebook whenever we’re in town again!

**Please read entire listing before booking - Details and Neighborhood** Unique, Pioneer Square living in a historic loft in Seattle! Beautiful 325SF private room and bathroom. Can't beat the location! Private room with a lock on the door comes with attached private bathroom, tv, arm chair, dresser, queen size bed + all the necessities. This is my home, and I live here. The overall space is 2400SF!
Historic artist space with so much character, loving kitties and a german shepherd puppy live here! This is a 2nd floor walk up with no elevator. Stairs only. Please be ok with the quirks of a 150 year old building.
In the center of Seattle's oldest neighborhood, Pioneer Square filled with trendy bars, coffee shops, vintage stores and delicious food. Please research this neighborhood and it’s homeless population in Downtown Seattle, also the general downtown area mission district. I personally don’t have issues. Minutes walking distance to Pike Place, Century Link, T Mobile Park, Occidental Park.

  • This Airbnb is the full package! If you’re looking for a beautiful space, central location, and hospitable host then this is the perfect place for you. Taylor is wonderful in every way. She is thoughtful, generous, and very accommodating. What was a beautiful surprise is when we saw that she has 3 beautiful cats and the cutest pup in her loft. This was my sister and I’s first trip together and our first time in Seattle. The location was in walking distance from everything we wanted to visit, especially our favorite place which was the market. Taylor’s home is full of instagramable area’s that are authentic to Seattle’s history, and the room we stayed in is a dream! Taylor gave excellent recommendations to daytime activities, landmarks and nightlife hot spots. She even took us out a couple of times and introduced us to her friends! Some minor cons: The location was a little bit hard to find at first but Taylor picked up our call and made sure we made it inside safely. Directly outside of her loft there is a homeless population but they kept to themselves. The key box was difficult to open but we didn’t need to use it again once we got the keys. We would highly recommend staying at Taylor’s Airbnb! She raised the bar really high and made our sister trip a memorable one 🥰

Retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle to this two-story urban sanctuary—complete with Puget Sound water views, private rooftop deck, and a Walkscore of 96—only three blocks to the stadiums and ten blocks to Pike Place Market. Located on Main Street in Seattle’s most historic neighborhood, Pioneer Square, a vibrant atmosphere awaits travelers, whether in town for a Seahawks game, concert, or other occasion. Cannabis? We are a weed-friendly rental with accessories.
Relax and refresh yourself in a luxurious tub big enough for two. Nine foot slate walls create a spa-esque atmosphere, while complimentary LUSH bath bombs and face masks ensure a revitalizing experience. Guests will enjoy access to the complimentary coffee bar highlighting Seattle’s iconic coffee scene. A collection of beans and several brew methods will be provided for your stay, allowing you to explore the diversity of the coffee culture in the Emerald City from the comfort of your rental. Keep your coffee warm in a Yeti tumbler should you venture out into the city. The living room is a music-forward space, featuring access to a vinyl record collection of over 200 albums and Sonos sound system for streaming and playing music throughout the home. Send us a list of your favorite albums and we’ll happily set them out for your stay. The office space features an Apple iMac with guest access and wifi, as well as a modest antiquarian book selection should you feel like curling up with a classic on a rainy Seattle day. The bedroom features a cozy queen bed, as well as complimentary candles and ear plugs. Grab some fresh food at Pike Place Market and cook yourself up a feast in the expansive kitchen equipped with all the culinary essentials, as well appliances including a KitchenAid mixer, sous vid, Ninja blender and InstaPot for guest use. Venture up the spiral staircase and you’ll find a loft area that is equal parts media and meditation, plus access to the private rooftop deck. Enjoy views of the Puget Sound and the continuous flow of maritime traffic, including cargo ships, ferries and water taxies. Guests will find a sprawling sectional sofa and television with Playstation 4 for entertainment needs, as well as a selection of the latest video games. Going for a more zen vibe? Yoga mat, foam roller, massage bar and floor cushions are also available under the chaise. Customize the ambiance of your stay via eight Phillips HUE lights throughout the home—great for game day color schemes to support your team, romantic vibes, etc. Assorted candles and incense are also complimentary. While ideal for two agile travelers, up to four can be accommodated by converting the loft space to an extra bedroom, where a large couch and air mattress are available. This 3rd and 4th floor space is located in a historic building without elevators, but it's well worth the climb of stairs for the views and privacy amidst the buzz of the city. If you plan on partaking in Seattle's legal cannabis scene while you're here, we are 420-friendly. Hotels prohibit it and and public consumption is illegal, so having a safe spot with well-appointed accessories can dramatically enhance your stay. Absolutely no children. Zero exceptions. When you see the place you’ll understand why. Cannabis smoking is permissible indoors. Tobacco consumption is limited to the rooftop deck.
Pioneer Square is perhaps the most vibrant and historic neighborhood in Seattle. There are endless places to go and things to do--our block alone is home to eight restaurants and bars. Guests in town for a game or concert will find themselves just steps from the stadiums--a huge plus when dealing with game day and concert night traffic.
  • Meghan helped to make our very first Airbnb experience a good one. We flew out from upstate NY to catch a Seahawks game. We had never used Airbnb before. Meghan is very quick to communicate and was very helpful with any questions we had. The loft is excellent and is perfectly located. We walked to the stadium and to Pike's Place. We would definitely stay here again. A++

The Lucknow is a historic loft building in the downtown neighborhood of Pioneer Square. This spacious, 730 SF loft boasts newly refinished wood floors, 14 foot ceilings, large windows, exposed brick walls and original beams, and a lofted queen-sized bed. Beautifully and comfortably furnished with one-of-a kind pieces and decor, fully stocked kitchen (cookware, dishes, utensils, etc.), and large bathroom. This would be the perfect home away from home for visitors staying a week or more.
Pioneer Square is the charming, bustling historic district in downtown Seattle. The neighborhood features some of Seattle's prized architecture, cobblestone alleyways, and a great gallery and restaurant scene. It's centrally located and within walking distance to the stadiums and most popular destinations downtown. Please note that there are a few homeless shelters and missions in the area, as is common in many urban neighborhoods. However, we have never had any issues with resident or guest safety--in fact, most praise our building's location--and Pioneer Square is considered to be a very safe part of Seattle. For those prospective guests who are averse to seeing homeless people or panhandlers, I suggest choosing an accommodation outside of downtown Seattle.
  • Nice clean place that is close to many things. The loft is comfy. There is noise from outside but I used a fan app on my phone to generate some white noise and that worked for me. Lots of restaurants close by. Close to the train and really anything you might want.

  • Very convenient hip loft in a beautiful older building that's just a 3-minute walk to Pioneer Square light rail station. Even after a Monday night Seahawk's game I didn't notice much street noise nor did I get a lot of noise from neighbors, though if you're sensitive the provided ear plugs might come in handy for other city sounds like morning garbage trucks. Loft bed was SUPER cozy and the ladder was easy to get up & down. Wifi worked great, shower was hot with shampoo & conditioner ready to use, can't ask for much more in an urban stay!

  • This location and apartment is definitely hard to beat. The beds were very comfortable and much needed after the traveling. The proximity to everything was amazing, between walking and Uber everything you needed to do and see was reachable. The views were definitely unbeatable and a great way to watch the sun set or enjoy a morning coffee. Would stay here again!

  • This place is amazing, and I would highly recommend for the view and the location alone. Caridad is also very informative, and helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

  • So close to the Market, easy to walk from the train, close to shopping downtown and absolutely beautiful view. The condo was super comfortable and a great spot to wind down at night and enjoy over breakfast. So much easier than a hotel.

  • Amazing location, host, space.. I could go on and on! Caridad’s place is perfect, especially if you’re visiting Seattle without a car. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything you think you might need plus more. The location was great too! We were able to get to most places on foot or by ride share. The pictures do no justice to Caridad’s place. If you’re on the fence about it, just go for it! You won’t regret a thing. Thanks again Caridad for your generous hospitality!

  • Nice central location, beautiful views

    Ronald2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. The location is perfect for getting around. Right next to Pikes Market and a Target in walking distance. Actually there is SO much within walking distance: coffee, dining, shopping, waterfront. The views are wonderful and it was great having morning coffee at the table and watching the ferries go by. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. I like to cook some while traveling and the kitchen had everything I needed. The building has great amenities but we also enjoyed relaxing in the living room in the evenings looking out over the water. Caridad was super responsive and since the building has 24 hour concierge we dropped our luggage in the morning and headed out for the day until check in time. I must also mention the bed. We all felt the beds were super comfortable and loved that they were adjustable. This was the first vacation I've taken where I didn't come back home thinking "I can't wait to sleep in my own bed." I wanted to take the bed home with me. I even sent Caridad a message asking what the bed brand and model are since it was so amazing. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Seattle. Thank you Caridad!

An art-filled nook in a richly historic building and neighborhood, lovingly decorated with vintage and modern details. Be the sole overnight guest in a building where artists ply their craft, while you help support the local culture. Walk to restaurants, cocktail bars, galleries, museums, theatres, and more —then return to this light-filled retreat and your own private art show.
Immerse yourself in this art-filled private nook, nestled inside a building rich with history and filled with working artists, in the heart of Pioneer Square, Seattle's first neighborhood. This former caretakers' apartment put in time as a corporate conference room before being lovingly repurposed again by the resident artists. The concept and decor were inspired by Gertrude Stein's apartment on the Rue de Fleurus, its walls hung salon-style with art by undiscovered artists whom she collected, supported, and gathered for conversation. Thoughtful details strike a balance between visible layers of history and clean, modern convenient touches. The Salon Rue de Cerise, on the third floor of the historic Good Arts Building, is a place to stay and unique insider experience for traveling art-lovers, but it is more than that: Your stay supports the Good Arts mission of keeping the building affordable to artistic endeavors. The room even comes with its own private art show. All the artwork on the wall, and some of the furnishings, can be purchased by guests and shipped free within the U.S. The Salon is on the third floor of an historic (i.e., no elevator) building. The stairs are not steep, and the way is paved with art installations that make climbing them a pleasure. We're located steps from light rail, buses, ferries, and numerous other options. A car is not necessary or recommended while you're staying here, but if you do arrive by car there are nearby garages with reasonable day rates in which to stash your vehicle. The bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, funky modern end tables, bespoke lamps handmade by a local artist, and a cute tulip table flanked by comfy chairs, perfect for watching the comings and goings of this vibrant neighborhood over coffee or a glass of wine. On a credenza in the anteroom, you'll find a chemex coffee service, an electric kettle, cups, glasses, a corkscrew, tea, and other handy things to make you feel at home. Above the credenza are framed vintage photographs that tell of the rich history of the building and neighborhood. In the private newly-refurbished bathroom are ample fresh linens, a hairdryer, soaps and shampoos. In the closet are stashed an iron, ironing board, luggage rack, and clothes hangers. In its 130-year history, the building has housed a jazz club, a speakeasy (which may or may not have been a brothel), a boxing gym, a haberdashery, a two-story diner called "Good Eats", furnished rooms, a theatre, numerous bars, and Seattle's first gay and lesbian community center. In 2015, it was purchased by an unlikely partnership consisting of a real estate developer, artists, and an immigrant coffee shop owner who wished to preserve and continue its lively, artsy history. The neighborhood has experienced a recent revival and influx of posh new bars and restaurants, and with them, rising rents. Your hosts at the Salon Rue de Cerise believe that artists ought to stick around to share in the wealth they helped create, as they write the next chapter of the building's history.
There's a local favorite coffee shop right downstairs, where you can hang with the locals over a latte and pastry. The neighborhood has abundant restaurant offerings and charming cocktail bars on every block. Art galleries, cool clothing shops, bookstores, underground tours, and a groovy alternative dinner theatre are just a few of the activities within walking distance.
  • A quiet, art-filled little cubbyhole to nestle into as your base to explore Seattle. The wall opposite the bed is full of art from what I assume are the artists who inhabit the neighboring studios. Left a feeling that one was staying in their own private gallery. Despite the proximity to Pioneer Square, the room was quite quiet on a weekend, cozy and warm in the cold, full of books about pioneer square and even delightful pictures of the building through its 100+ year history. I’ll stay here again. You should stay here for your first time.

  • Not a speck of dirt anywhere. Warm and cozy. Jane was very easy to communicate with prior to my stay. Great location right next to Pioneer Square galleries and restaurants (also within walking distance of Seahawks Century Link Field). And, of course, the entire wall of artworks from local artists. Recommend.

  • I recommend this place to everybody!! It's so conveniently located to everything. It is a block away from the pier, a block away from the gum wall, and a 5 minute walk from Pikes Place. We were able to park our car for the whole weekend and walk everywhere!! Their place is so lovely. All of the residents are helpful and nice. There is a beautiful courtyard and amazing places to eat and visit nearby. It is also a few doors down from the pool, hot tub, and sauna.
