The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Karuizawa Kaede House, located between Lake Shiozawa and Naka-Karuizawa, is very convenient. We renovated the villa into a cottage, so please relax and unwind.
