Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vancouver Island

We had the best getaway at First Light! Erika’s place is stunning, private, and very cozy. We loved all of the amenities including the fire pit, hot tub, and sauna. Erika was a very responsive host and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! We hope to return soon and would highly recommend booking the space :)

A beautiful setting that is a great place to relax with a few couples. It is roomy and has great gathering and relaxation spots inside and out. There lots of kitchen implements for cooking, tons of linen, and it’s very clean.

The place was very cozy and Caroline was an excellent host, quick communication and very friendly. Also, the location was ideal for mountain biking the trails located in the Garibaldi Highlands. Thanks, and hope to visit again soon!

Kelli’s place is amazing- absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it! IWe were just able to do one night stay at this place, but wished we could extend our trip. It is located in a quiet, serene area, and is a big property so make sure you explore!! Don’t forget to enjoy with the goats or to relax in the hot tub. I am so glad I booked my time here.

We are out in the Olys for day hikes so often but it’s such a treat to stay here at this riverside retreat. The location is perfectly juxtaposed between a day trip to the coast or beautiful Lake Crescent! We loved having this cozy cabin and the music of the river lulling us to sleep after a long day outdoors. The kitchen is more equipped than most and we love the general layout and vibes. The Red Owl has been our first choice a couple of times for our visit to Sequim..It fit our family of 11 perfectly..great yard for the kids to run around in..very clean and has everything we needed! Peter is always accommodating and attentive..Thank you Peter!

Great location & place to stay. Very central to all the attractions in Whistler and walking distance from everywhere. We had a small issue with our stay on the first night but the hosts responded and offered a solution within 20 minutes of us raising the issue. Fab air BnB and lovely hosts!

We absolutely loved being hosted by Mila at the Alpenglow. This place was the perfect cozy getaway for our small family, and the location could not have been more ideal for walking right across the street to excellent restaurants, marketplace, and the Whistler Village. Although we did not ski during this trip, it would have been the perfect ski in/out setup. We are already discussing our return trip. Thanks so much Mila!

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. The accommodation was very comfy and spacious and only a short walk from the ski lifts. There is a large supermarket nearby.

Great place to stay in the upper village near the Blackcomb gondola. The hot tubs were awesome, ski in/out location and ski valet are also a big plus! Would definitely stay here again if I am back at Whistler!

Peaceful Lynn Valley retreat. Comfortable and private, fantastic location. Beautiful surroundings! 10 minute drive to Lonsdale or Mr Seymour. Great spot for adventurers or for a quiet getaway.

Our stay at this luxurious home in White Rock was absolutely wonderful. The property itself is stunning—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with high-quality furnishings and premium appliances. The breathtaking ocean views from the spacious patios made our stay even more special. We highly recommend this house for anyone looking for an exceptional stay in White Rock!

Alice’s house was beautiful inside! Very thoughtfully decorated, the tatami mats were really cool, and there was tons of space! Would definitely book again!

We had the most amazing girls family getaway. The property is stunning as is the home. We were able to easily fire up the wood burning sauna for a spa like experience in the forest. This is truly a hidden gem! We cooked in the extremely well appointed kitchen, strolled the property with my happy little pup, and slept in the most comfortable beds. The fire pit right below the wrap around deck was such a treat. Our stay was beyond perfect in every way. We will be back but next time for a longer stay.

Celebrated here with family including grandkids. Perfect location and layout for us despite the stormy weekend. Many rooms helped keep the noise down when needed. Enjoyed the large dining room for us all and the great walkability to town. But mostly….the view!! Sitting with a coffee in hand and watching the storm was amazing!Thanks so much for providing such a lovely venue!

Fantastic Suite! I was worried at first about he lack of Air Conditioning during the summer but the location perfect and kept cool, plus we brought our fan. The suite was better than expected and was clean, quiet and had everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kilae and Tyson
