The Cocktail Lounge (Nominated Best Boutique Stay)

The Cocktail Lounge (sleeps 2), spread over two floors, feels like a little house all in itself with a beautiful king size bedroom and stunning rustic bathroom and huge copper bath + shower, both opening onto a hallway with a winding staircase leading up to a really special little Cocktail Lounge in the loft, complete with a bar, an ideal spot for that pre-dinner G&T. The lounge area has a large flat screen TV, squishy sofa so it’s a lovely place to cosy up after an evening out too

Romantic Room

Probably the most central hotel in York. Certainly the one with most personality! Fun, relaxed, friendly, historic, and a little bit quirky. Independently owned (proud member of Indie York), dog friendly, and home to the awesome Forest restaurant. Each room is unique and most have stunning features which highlight the history of this Georgian townhouse; expect to find original oak beam ceilings, exposed brick walls, and traditional fireplaces. Some rooms have views of York Minster!

Mam Tor Suite at Cheshire Mews Castleton

Our home away from home comprises stone built mews accommodating five self-contained holiday suites. Located centrally in the picturesque village of Castleton in the Peak District National Park. Castleton lies on the western edge of the Hope Valley, within sight of Mam Tor and the limestone canyon of Winnats Pass. Walking straight from the room into the gorgeous Peak District finishing off with a drink and meal in one of many walkable local pubs.

A delightful double room with outside balcony and bistro table and chairs perfect for a stay at the seaside. Inside is a small kitchen / refreshment area with fridge, sink, and kettle. It comes with a king size double bed and an en-suite shower room. This 2nd floor room offers views across the beach and piers.
