What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

Nice place with all amenities necessary. 10 min walk to the centre. Comfy bed. Hot yoga studio 1 min walk away :-) We will be back!

What an incredible stay! Very convenient for our intended stay, and great value for money! Upon meeting Brian, he was very friendly and incredibly helpful in regards to showing us how to work everything in the home. It’s a lovely little secluded place with excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, and it’s right next to a walking track which could provide ample enjoyment for those who love to stretch their legs. Would love to come and stay again!

Lovely cosy cabin in idyllic location, perfect for a weekend get away. Cabin was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was such a nice addition and perfect to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend and would return 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin in Wales. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, offering the perfect escape. The cabin was clean, quiet, and easy to find, with several attractions nearby. The host was friendly and responsive, making us feel very welcome. It’s a little gem of a place—absolutely amazing! Dog friendly and secure car parking too. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be staying again. It’s something different and so peaceful! We sat outside and lit a fire and looked out at the amazing views. Thankyou so much for our stay we can’t wait to come back!

our second visit to this chalet. is a lovely peaceful location and just as described. everything needed is provided including bed linen, towels, toilet and kitchen roll. Bed is lovely and comfortable. if a peaceful, restful break is what you're after would definitely recommend 👌

Camilla was a great host, excellent communication throughout, and very friendly. The accommodation was exactly as described, comfortable, private, high quality/finish throughout, and the setting was lovely. If we are ever in the area, we would look to book again. Thank you again, and could not recommend more.

Had a lovely Easter break, the accommodation was amazing and spotless. The effort that has gone into these pods are second to none, spotless and clean. Everything you would ever need was provided. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Such beautiful surroundings and the hot tub is perfect for 2 people to unwind and spend quality time together. I can’t wait to come back. Just 20 minutes from Windermere so perfect for a lovely day out.

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

Wow, what a place! 10/10 for everything! The location was amazing, beautiful views and the only neighbours were the cute sheep! A perfect place to escape, switch off and enjoy nature. The hut had everything you needed and was in the best location for walks. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to come back. Catherine was a lovely host and made everything perfect for us. A very comfortable little home gave us a fantastic view over surrounding farmland and hills. We were able to see lots of wildlife up close, right next to the hut! We didn't use the car for two days as we relaxed or walked through fields to the town and enjoyed boating, coffee, ice-cream and walking round. We took a short drive to Marsden and soaked up the history of the canal tunnel. We had an excellent break!

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay @ Andrew and Fionas place ... beautiful countryside and a great walk that started from the rear of the garden that was recommended by Fiona... the lodge is lovely and the hot tub is an added bonus.... we were lucky with the weather and had 2 glorious sunny warm days ... Blue the friendly Lab was also a welcome addition and called to see us on a number of occasions !... overall we had a great break made all the better by the friendly and welcoming hosts... thank you... Great little place, nice and private even in the back garden. Lovely bed and lovely touch with welcome pack. Great recommendation for place to eat aswell.

Me and my partner had an absolutely lovely stay high house hideaway, it was a lovely hut with plenty of space, we also couldn't be more thankful for the welcome gifts they were lovely! the hot tub was also great, all in all I would highly recommend and we would happily stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Exactly as described and very clean. Mandy and Jon live on site but did not encroach on our space or privacy at all. Everything we needed was available and we would have had no hesitation to ask if we needed anything. We needed a few days away for rest and recuperation and that is exactly what we got. Quiet and peaceful and cannot think of anything negative to say. There is a big Morrisons on the way to Boroughbridge which is only 8 mins away in car. We did use the local shop on the first night which was lovely. Lots of local attractions not too far away. We will definitely be back. PS Look out for the peeping pheasant at around 5.45 am every morning. He liked to sit on the picnic bench and stare at his reflection in the bi-fold doors.

It is truly a woodland wonder! Ali has created a such a beautiful, quirky & magical spot. If you want to feel completely at peace & as one with nature then you have to come and experiance this place! The hut itself is tranquil and the views are just beautiful, the outdoor shower is bliss & an experiance in itself & the location is so ideal for exploring all of what Settle & the surrounding areas has to offer, This place is truly enchanting, we had the most amazing 2 days exploring, unwinding & fully disconnecting from our busy lives. Our two dogs absolutley loved it, exploring the secure grounds & forest & playing to their hearts content, so much so our Collie did not want to leave! Thank you for hosting us Ali & family, we can't wait to come back xoxo

Lovely tranquil place and liked the lovely little touches given to make the stay more relaxing. We took children and the hosts were very accommodating for this and they loved the open space to play and especially the hot tub and toasting marshmallows on the bbq. Would definatley recommend, near to the east coast so lots to explore nearby. I would say more suited for couples but a lovely stay all in all. Thank you for your hospitality

The lodge was beautiful and so relaxing, felt incredibly sad going back to normal life after our 2 nights. The hot tub was perfect, and though we came for the coldest weekend of the winter so far, the place was comfortable and cosy. The bathroom is a little walk away and can be spooky in the dark, but the relaxation from the hot tub takes the edge off. Sophie was lovely and incredibly helpful over message and you can tell she takes great pride in the lodge. Would recommend and will be coming back!

Beautifully located Hut, in a rural, peaceful and stunning location. Far enough away from the owners home but near enough if any issues arose (none did for us!) The hosts were super helpful in the lead up to our stay, recommending places to eat and visit. We received a welcome basket on arrival with breakfast for our first morning along with a few other tasty treats including an Easter egg (we stayed over the Easter weekend) and a bottle of Prosecco. All in all we had a wonderful few days away in the gorgeous little shepherds hut

Absolutely lovely stay! Rachel was a brilliant host and would reply to any messages straight away. The location was amazing and private, in a really good location & had gorgeous views. Really comfy bed, has everything you need. Also love the idea of no WiFi !

Had a fabulous stay for my birthday, lovely added extras like processco, chocolate and balloons. Loved the dog and chickens popping to say hello. Only thing we wasn't expecting was hearing the people staying in other lodgings, as they had music on till early hours, so not the hosts fault but worth mentioning as you can hear others and not as secluded as expected. But would absolutely visit again such a beautiful place and surroundings.
