Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Colorado River

Very clean and pretty! Exactly what we were looking for, will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. I stayed for a work trip but would love to come back with my family as there is a lot to do on the property!

Everything was absoultely perfect!! We booked the Queen Suite last minute since we were driving through the area. It was very peaceful! We were able to enjoy the pool in the afternoon and sit out under the twinkle lights at night listening to nature. The room was clean and had all the essentials provided we needed. I would definitely recommend this airbnb!

Our family vacation started out a little rough with another airbnb and location. Thankfully we found Vicky and Micky and they able to turn our whole vacation around for us. They were amazing host's! They answered all of our questions and helped make our vacation memorable.

This was an amazing stay and both Lacy and Rebekah were amazing! Me and my mother were traveling to Waco for a Baylor graduation from Houston. Our original reservation was for a motel which we didn’t realize until the day of and with two females by ourselves we didn’t think it would be safe. Within the last two hours of our drive we were rushing to find a new place to stay. Which is where Lacy came in letting us know they had availability for our last minute stay. We got there a little earlier than our reservation and meet Rebekah (property manager) who let us know we could stay at the pool until our room was ready. It was far enough from Waco to enjoy the nature but about 15mins from Waco to enjoy the stores and restaurants. The rooms were amazing as well as the pool. There was also fun activities to do outside that was set up and some sitting areas. Everything looked exactly as the pictures. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to any and everyone!!

My stay at The Charmadillo was fantastic. The property and unit was spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly set up for a comfortable and relaxing visit. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful amenities, everything made it easy to feel right at home. Sarah was an attentive and friendly host, quick to respond and genuinely committed to making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings made it a true escape, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

This by far was one of my all time favorite AirBnB experiences. The land is absolutely stunning with gorgeous skies and lovely Hill Country terrain. The cabins are spacious, clean, and cozy. The community kitchen is industrial grade and an absolute delight to cook in. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

My wife and I enjoyed 5 days and 4 nights at Sarah’s place! We felt right at home and were able to cook some of our favorite meals with ease as well as go into nearby towns for some tasty bites and recommendations from Sarah. We even enjoyed some delightful conversations with others staying there.

Such a perfect getaway with my partner and our pup. Tucked in the middle of the hills, it was so quiet we found ourselves whispering at some points, sort of like a silent retreat for us we loved it. Everything was clean and I loved the little details of the coffee, comfy robes, and eucalyptus in the shower (I do that at home). I think we found our regular getaway.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Charmadillo! Sarah was so nice and hospitable. The bathrooms were clean and smelled nice, the cabin was so clean, thoughtful, and the peace I felt was unmatched. I can’t say enough great things!

Zach and Calrlyle were very professional and friendly. Very responsive when we eneded something. The place is beautiful, very well appointed with amaing grounds great cabins, clean and top restrooms and super nice with all needed common kitchen. We will definetely come back. Besides very close to Houston.

I came back from my last stay a year ago and I felt right at home. Everything was the just like how I remember it from last year. It's honestly a great place to go and relax. You have the sense that you have all the time in the world. It's peaceful and enjoyable.
