Holiday home rentals in Colorado River

We recently stayed at the Ranch House and it was fantastic. The kids were able to feed the wild animals that roamed around and actually came right up to the deck. The house itself was clean and plenty of room for the 8 of us. All items (laundry, dishwasher and TV worked great). We did the extras offered by RowdyRanch and were not disappointed. We did the pony ride, the Wagon Feed and had the 5 gallon buckets of feed brought to us by RanchHand Ethan. We would 100% come back and plan to. The experience the kids had was unmatched. (if you're afraid of the large animals you can easily stay on the deck and not interact directly). But for those adventurous ones like us, we 'wrangled' the animals to come back with us for feeds and felt comfortable being on the ground with them (but always remembering, they are huge and wild...so respect their space). LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

We came in town to visit family over Thanksgiving and the DragonFly was a perfect place for my family to stay while we visited. The views and location were great. The house was very well stocked with anything we might need and Michael was very responsive to a few questions that came up throughout our stay. We will absolutely stay again next time we visit Austin.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The house is in a great location for a quiet getaway, but close to New Braunfels, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Gruene, etc. for fun activities and dining. The house was perfect for our group of five adults. The balcony views of the hill country, especially at sunset was a highlight. Our hosts did everything to make us feel like welcome guests in their home.

Everything was great! The place was so relaxing and beautiful. Most of our stay it rained so we couldn’t go to the lake but still we had fun inside playing games and watching movies. It really was super relaxing. The bed was comfortable and big and the couches super comfortable even fell asleep on them. There are tons of spices for cooking and the bonfire was really nice at night. We toasted marshmallows had a few drinks and just looked at the stars. Yall should definitely book your stay here!

Beautiful home was perfect for our family gathering. Home was tastefully furnished with large bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen and baths. The games were a nice touch as too hot to do much outdoors. Very pleased. Thank you Anne!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was amazing! The house itself was something out of a magazine and it was great! The host even kindly let us extend our stay and our check out time. Great communication and a fabulous place to stay! Be careful for the road leading up to it, they are very bumpy and uneasy, especially for a lower car (has nothing to do with the house or host just the area)

This house is incredible! Every area is updated and really nice, and all of the furniture and beds are super comfortable. Lots of space for the whole family. Fun to be right on the water too, with the dock and kayaks. The host was also really helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely come back and stay again!

The place was easy to find and located in a quiet, peaceful area. It looked exactly like the pictures and had plenty of space for my son and I. If you're planning to visit San Antonio, it's about an hour's drive, but the tranquility of the location makes it well worth it. There are also a few restaurants nearby, and a short drive into town offers even more options. Overall, a wonderful stay—I would definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful time! The house was super clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfy! The pool was so much fun and we felt like we had our own private part of the lake! We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic few days at John's place. John is a great host - very responsive and attentive...The home was super comfy and relaxing, the location was great and the view and access to the lake was amazing. The games room was a total winner as was relaxing on the dock!!! We all loved it and had soooo much fun making awesome memories at John's fantastic place. Looooved it...looooved it...looooved it...and we'll def be back!!! It was perfect for what we wanted!!! Thanks heaps John.

nice studio and great neighborhood, with gym and trail. the room is above garage so not very big, but good enough for 1 or 2 peoples, the bed is very comfortable, very clean.

This property is absolutely stunning and feels like a true home away from home. The Spanish architecture makes it feel like you're stepping into a romantic storybook. The owners went above and beyond for us, allowing us to use the space for our vision and showing incredible kindness and understanding throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend this place highly enough—our experience here was nothing short of amazing!

Great place to stay and would absolutely stay there agin!

Annette was a life saver! She was extremely responsive, before, during and even after our stay! Beautiful home, very clean and free of “clutter”. Communication with everything was spot on! A very nice touch sending Tiff’s Treats to my family — I think this speaks to her understanding that sometimes, a nice treat goes a long way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ without a doubt! It was perfect! Amazing place to stay!

The house was fantastic. Chad was very accommodating. We didn’t lack for anything and they didn’t cut corners on the quality of what was provided. The yard was big and the kayak was fun to take out. We also enjoyed the game room, fire pit and fishing off the dock. About 2 minutes down the road was a ranch with some amazing animals you could see from the highway (zebras, buffalo, ostrich, etc) - that was an added bonus.

The house was beautiful, master bedroom and bathroom on one end of the house, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the other side with the living room, kitchen and dining room located in the middle. Deer roam around everyday, corn to feed them, I just shook the cup of corn for a bit and poured it on the ground the deer seemed to show up within 5 minutes. Close to San Antonio and all of the attractions. Definitely recommend the local Italian restaurant Gennaro's Trattoria, best food I have ever had. The host was very responsive and helpful I would stay again!
