Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Honshu

This house is perfect for families with children, and the property itself is quite new. The cleanliness is also satisfactory. However, making the beds yourself was quite a big task for me. Additionally, the night we stayed, there was strong wind, making it hard to sleep due to the loud sound of waves crashing—understandable given the house’s seaside location. After checking in, I noticed that Taiza Kids also has another house specifically designed for adults, and it looks really cool!

I drove here from karuizawa, he allowed us to check in late,very comfortable with my two kids, we also can cook happily,because as muslim it’s hard to find halal food in japan.. can wash cloth.. and very near with dotonburi and others attractions..

The home was great, comfortable beds, near stores and subway lines.

This was the most stunning accommodation we’ve ever stayed in! It was everything we’d hoped for and more. It makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. The details around the house were so beautiful and the beds were almost like stepping into a hug. Mark and Rie went out of their way for us and made us feel very welcome. Honestly, I’ve you have found this place, just go. You will not regret it for a single second. We definitely wanted to stay longer than we had planned. Hopefully next time we’re in Japan ❤️

We had a fabulous stay at Taketombo house. We were a group of three families with 6 kids. The house is at a picturesque location with a rice fields in front and mountains surrounding. The place was spacious for three families with clean rooms. Just sitting at the porch watching the nature itself was relaxing. Nick was very responsive, and interactive. Would definitely want to come back and stay here.

Quiet and fairly convenient neighborhood - about 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Also got a coined parking lot just around the corner if driving. Host responded really quick when I got problem with accessing the house. Overall a pretty good experience.

We loved June’s place, it felt like our own little home in Tokyo. Beds were so comfy! The location was quiet and felt very local, and it was so easy to catch the nearby train to stations like Shinjuku, only 2 stops away. June is a very responsive and lovely host who is willing to help with anything you need. Would recommend to anyone and I would stay again anytime I’m visiting Tokyo. 💖

It was my first visit to Osaka, and I had a happy stay. The inside of the accommodation was the same as the photos. There were 5 women, so I was worried about one bathroom, but the sink and shower were separated, so it was okay. There were also two dryers. I liked that the blankets were fluffy.It was worth the walk to the main street of Dotonbori. There is a Lawson convenience store near the accommodation, so it was nice to buy late-night food on the way.

Kei's place is great for a fun time in Tokyo and specifically in Shibuya. Right near the action, but tucked away enough to get some solitude. Shibuya crossing is a super short walk away, access to multiple transportation routes and everything that Shibuya offers. Kei was very responsive, shared clear instructions and makes the process seamless. Thanks so much Kei!!

Osamu was a wonderful host and was very helpful explaining the place and had several documents made up with easy to follow instructions. Very accommodating in English and was a great location to have access to Tokyo, but still feel like you were living in a neighborhood, not a city.

Everything was good, including cleanliness, room type, and check-in/out. It consumes about 8 minutes on foot from the station, and there are many restaurants in between. It has the advantage of going to Namba and Shinsaibashi stations in 1 stop. There are tableware, fridge, microwave, etc. in the accommodation, so it is very good for simple cooking. Thanks to you, this 4-day trip was very pleasant.

This stay was very pleasant, the instructions provided by Mr. Host were very detailed and accurate, and the things prepared in the room were also very attentive and thoughtful.The room is big enough for two people to live in Japan, and it feels like home.The tatami bed is also very comfortable, and it is quiet at night.Transportation is very convenient, we used the high-speed bus and piano electric, and go to the port a little further away, but I think this distance is also good.Perfect in every way, I'll come back to Takamatsu and stay here again!

This place is amazing! Space is enough for two or maybe three people, and has almost complete ameneties. This place made us feel very much at home, maybe even better! We wlso love Kikka's kindness and responsiveness, she has been so helpful during our stay in Osaka in every way possible. we can't thank you enough :) we hope we can book this place again when we come back next year. 100/10 will recommend!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Osaka! This apartment is perfectly located near Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba—ideal for exploring all the exciting sights, shopping, and delicious food the city has to offer. The room itself was comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I felt truly at home and will definitely be back next time I’m in Osaka. Highly recommend!

Excellent success! It was a very clean and pleasant stay. Parking was right in front and luggage in and out was a breeze. It was fully equipped with amenities, especially with many outlets, which was helpful. We are very grateful to you for the flexibility of the parking lot and the number of guests. It was cheaper for the price of a nearby accommodation, but it was more comfortable to stay than a hotel.

Toshi was a wonderful and informative host. He provided great instructions on getting to the place and was very accommodating. The place is perfect for a solo or couple traveling. The place is close to the Hase station and is a 10 minute walk from the giant Buddha statue. There are many great restaurants, bakeries, and cafes. Will definitely try to book in the summer so I can enjoy the beach!

We loved staying here! The neighborhood (Gotanda) has lots of shops and restaurants nearby yet is not as touristy or crowded as other parts of Tokyo. 5 min walk to the metro and JR station made it very convenient. The apartment had 3 separate mini-split AC units so each bedroom and the living room could be adjusted to fit preference. It was also very clean and well-stocked with the essential supplies. Bryan even stocked the fridge with an assortment of drinks for our arrival. That was a nice personal touch. He met with us upon check-in to go over the equipment and answer any questions. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants which we tried them all out. Overall, very happy with having stayed here and can't wait to return.

Jacob and Natsuka's place was lovely, with a really homey feel and lots of thought in the little things, like a separate getting ready area with mirrors and a stand, and a multi-outlet power base with usb and usb-c ports. They left lots of instructions to help foreigners navigate the very Japan-specific home features. Shimokitazawa is such a fun area, you could spend multiple days in a 1km radius and still feel want more time.

clean, homely, ample kitchenware and extremely convenient location! we enjoyed the place thoroughly and it was suitable for family. host is very responsive and helpful. thank you again for the wonderful stay.
