Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village Ottsjö, our newly built house is in a high position overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house, you will feel like you are outdoors even when you are sitting inside by the stove with a cup of tea. Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Cottage in central Järvsö. 4+(1 child's bed) beds, completely renovated. 2 bedrooms and kitchen overlooking the hill. Approx. 50 sqm 2 minutes to skiing or biking. We live in the main house and are available if you have any questions. Guests will have access to the cottage and barbecue area in the garden. Parking, WiFi, A/C and cleaning included. Bed linens & towels can be rented for SEK 50/person Travel bed for children & high chair can be borrowed. Good to know: The main property where the host family lives has a doorbell with a camera.

From Forsa, you can easily reach excursion destinations throughout Hälsingland; e.g. Hudiksvall, Järvsö, Hornslandet and Dellenbygden. Relax, dive into the lake or why not put on cross-country skis outside the door in the winter? When Storsjön roars, you can light the fire & look out through the panoramic windows & enjoy Oviksfjällen on the horizon. After a day up in the mountains, you can come in to the sauna, cuddle up on the sofa by the fireplace or enjoy a dinner around the large dining table in front of the glass walls that frame the mountain environment like a large painting. The lodge is located near Storhogna M where there is a restaurant, ski rental, self-service grocery store and bowling. 2 km away is the mountain hotel with spa and more restaurants.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. The small house is quietly situated in the forests of Jämtland. There is a paved path on the property for a walk. You can also find a jetty to the lake with a scenic beach for taking a bath in the summer or for cross country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing in the winter. Extensive hikes or bike tours are also possible here. There are many great things to discover in the surrounding nature. We have a boat, SUP Boards and a fishing set to rent.
