Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village of Ottsjö, our newly built house is located in a high location overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm large with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house you will feel like you're outdoors even when you're sitting inside by the fireplace with a cup of tea. Right behind the house there are several prepared cross-country tracks, scooter tracks, hiking trails and proximity to nice fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

At the top of the hill overlooking Skarvarna is this state-of-the-art mountain cabin completed June 2022 with sun all day. The location is optimal for those who are looking for variety and want to go to different places during their stay as it is about 20 minutes to both Bruksvallarna and Fjällnäs. There are mountain biking trails below the area towards Funäsdalen/Bruksvallarna. It is about 30 minutes (2.5 km) to walk to Funäsdalens Centrum. Charge the electric car by the house, cook in the new kitchen and enjoy with a view of the mountains.

Klövsjö is designated Sweden's most beautiful village with stunning nature and beautiful Klövsjön directly around the corner. Plenty of activities are available to do in the area all year round. In Klövsjö you also find stenung-bakery, beer brewery, restaurants and here you will also find the area's ICA shop as well. Klövsjö is located in the destination Vemdalen Jämtland (Sweden) which consists of Vemdalsskalet, Björnrike, Klövsjö and Storhogna. 10 km from Östersund, 50 km from Stockholm. 8 minutes to Klövsjöfjäll and alpine skiing.

Within walking distance, you will also find the tramway that offers 60 km of cross-country tracks. In summer you have nature right outside with lots of lovely hiking and biking trails! 5 min walking distance to grocery store, restaurant, bowling and ski shop at Storhogna M. 15 min walking distance to Storhogna mountain hotel with luxury spa and two restaurants.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. To live the slightly primitive life for a while, but for that matter, need to tumble upon all the comforts. To let go of everyday life, put down your cell phone, and be left behind by what's all around. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, make coffee and cook over an open fire.
