Nakano-san is an incredible host - friendly, easy to communicate with, and with helpful information about area stores/restaurants. The first day I checked in, I was invited to her son's music bar (Aloha New York) next door where I got to hear great jazz music and meet some awesome people - with local hookups for restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable, I didn't need to run the a/c at all despite the mugginess outside - and sitting out in the garden was very relaxing. It's tucked away off the main street in the area where you can't hear the hustle and bustle. Two stops off Shinjuku, it's easy to get anywhere as well. I'd stay again if in the area!

We had a relaxing time with a sense of openness in a quiet and natural village.There are no high concrete buildings or chain stores around, and you can enjoy the drive while admiring the stunning views of the Alpine Plateau. There were many ingredients in the nearby supermarket that could not be found in other prefectures, such as local wild vegetables and local chickens, so I enjoyed trying various things. The room has high ceilings and is spacious, and there are Japanese-style rooms, and there are plenty of cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking your own meals. Bringing firewood and towels is mandatory. The host who lives next door was friendly and helpful when I checked in.Thank you for staying in a warm and lovely place.

It was perfect, and Koh was very helpful. I also recommend visiting their bakery and trying the best cinnamon buns I've ever eaten. (Try warming them up a bit in the oven before eating to enjoy them hot.)

We loved our stay— peaceful place within walking distance to great restaurants, wonderful breakfast and top notch hospitality. Some of the best sleep I got on my trip, even sleeping on mats on the floor. Highly recommended!

Tomoko had been such an amazing host. She's very responsive and kept her place very clean. Our 10 month old baby loved crawling everywhere. She even bought a high chair for baby. Thank you so much! It made meal time fun and easy. You're the best!

The home was exactly as depicted in the listing, it was extremely clean and comfortable, and had all amenities and more that we required for our stay. The host was also very friendly, easy to communicate with and understanding to our requests. The location of the home was extremely convenient, Nankai Namba Station was located within a 5-7 minutes walk of the home, and there was various malls and things to do within a 5 minutes walking radius of the home such as Namba Parks, Namba City, Nipponbashi Denden Town, Namba Shopping District. A 7-11 was also located right opposite the home visible from the front door. It was a great place to fully explore Namba and the surrounding districts at a very reasonable price. Will definitely try to stay at the same location if I have the chance to visit again!

Mark and Mae are excellent host with very good English. This made communicate easy, they helped us when needed to work with other as our Japanese is very basic. They were thoughtful, helpful and tried hard to make sure we were comfortable. The place is as described and peaceful. We enjoy sitting in the morning sun in the white chairs and walking the neighborhood. Great stay!

My partner, our 1 year old son and I were the first guests in the property and were very warmly welcomed. We were super satisfied with the cleanliness, the location, the size of the place and with the communication of our hostess. We almost couldn't have imagined anything better for Tokyo. Rarely will you find an apartment in size (2 rooms), in the location for this price. The family is very friendly and warm, they provided us with food and oil for the baby, gave tips for the area and were always available. We would definitely come back on a second visit to Tokyo and highly recommend it.

The host is kind and friendly, the place I admire the most is the kitchen, all the appliances I think of, such as rice cooker, microwave, multi oven, dishwasher, oven, etc., there are also washing machines and dryers that must have a summer trip, the design is very practical, the environment is comfortable, absolutely feel at home, a must stay in a homestay, it is suitable for family and child travel, the experience is great!

We had a lovely stay at Jin’s place. The home is beautifully designed with thoughtful details and amenities. This was the perfect place to recharge during our travels in Japan. The tatami room, bath, and sauna were highlights of our stay and the grill was easy to use. The home is nestled in a forested area, so we did see some bugs outside but none inside at all and very few on the property. We are looking forward to staying here again when we are next in the area.

The room is great with free parking nearby. Close and walkable to shrine with beautiful sakura blossoms. Host is helpful and nice with quick response.

Cloud 9 was a perfect Ski house for our group of eight. Plenty of room and well stocked amenities. An easy 5 min walk over Rusutsu resort for lift access and an amazing onsen. Young has to be one of the top hosts I’ve ever worked with. He is very responsive and provides information and access to local restaurants and activities. He offered to pick us up and drop us off at the airport, but we already had shuttle arrangements. Will definitely use him next time we stay at Cloud9.

It was very beautiful and the view was great and we had a great time! It was an easy and fulfilling stay to operate the sauna!

It was a very beautiful accommodation in a quiet environment.There was a famous butcher shop around, and we enjoyed a meal.I'd love to stay in Sendai again. Thank you very much.

Loved staying here in this beautiful house. Location was fantastic on top of a beautiful hill. Was really clean and quiet and plenty of towels provided. It was as pictured so very lovely. Only thing to point out was that 2 of the bedrooms did not have curtains or blinds so our children were awake early with the dawn light. However we were happy to wake early to enjoy more time in the property. Check in e-mail with door PIN code went to junk e-mail box so not found initially but soon resolved by the host sending again. All in all loved the place and would stay again!

Simplistic style with all the essentials. Love the balcony in the morning where you get to see the sun. Tucked inside the alley. Minutes (by walk) from bikan. Great location. Very helpful gentlemen at the travel agency to assist. Else may not be able for us to find the place.
