Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Located at the western edge of Marfa, this cozy, unique adobe offers a true Marfa experience, and the best isolation and comfort for you. The house is air conditioned and heated, has wifi and a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs with a comfy queen sized bed and one loft bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and fun views. Na Bolom @ La Loma del Chivo (The Goat Hill)

This structure was designed and built partially by the same artisan who did a good bit of the foundational work on Eve's Garden, one of the best examples of 'papercrete' building world wide and located in north Marathon. This building, named 'Na Balom' or 'Jaguar House' in Mayan was constructed in the manner of the ubitious conical structures in Southern Italy, all through desert communities in the Middle East, Africa and is comfortable for two.

The Sandhill Crane Cottage is a perfect get away for birders, hikers, or just someone looking to get out of the city! It is approximately 2 miles away from Whitewater Draw which is host to thousands of Sandhill Cranes, multiple avian species, and a host of other wildlife.
