Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lugano District

House for nature lovers. In the middle of the forest with a large private garden. You have many opportunities to relax around the house. It is simply but conveniently furnished. The individual floors can each be reached via an external staircase. We enjoyed our stay in this oasis of peace.

We had a nice stay at Daniela’s place. Everything was very clean and easy to find. Plus we had a little surprise basket to feed ourselves and treat our dog with some snacks after a long trip. Thanks & happy new year!

We had a lovely stay at Mila's, in a spacious, bright, pleasant to live in, remodeled with great care. However, it was very hot, it would have to put outside blinds on the windows.

We rented Antonella’s place for 2 months to allow us to get situated when we first moved to Switzerland. The hosts were welcoming, kind, attentive, and responsive with any requests. We thoroughly enjoyed the place, we slept really well, the kitchen is well equipped, the view is beautiful, and the area is quiet. The location is great; you can get to outstanding places in all directions within 20 min to an hour drive - Lake Como (Italy!) Lugano, Locarno, San Bernardino, the Verzasca River, Ascona, and so much more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left with our hearts filled with gratitude for the hosts and our wonderful journey.

We received detailed documentation with useful information on how to get there, the house and the surrounding area before our stay. Self check-in with the lockbox was easy. In and around the house there is everything you need. The house even has a TV with Swisscom TV, which was great for us as we looked at the Superbowl:-) That there is no dishwasher available did not bother us. We enjoyed the view while washing up. The panorama overlooking the beautiful garden, the vines, mountains and lakes is spectacular! We enjoyed the hotpot experience very much. We loved the location. The house is quiet and secluded, but still you can reach Agno in less than 15 minutes by car, where there are various shopping opportunities. The bed was very comfortable, we didn't necessarily expect that from the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to Guja and Vix, you are great hosts!

Riccardo & Vittoria put a lot of effort into it and they are very warm and great hosts! Very friendly and straightforward. We enjoyed the stay and felt at home. The four of us had enough space, it was homely and cozy. We were able to relax superbly. In this environment we just enjoyed the tranquility. The views and the space were great. The possibilities for different experiences in nature and explorations are diverse. The people in the village are very likeable. We had everything we wanted and can recommend it to everyone. This is a special house. Beautiful and peaceful setting in the mountains with amazing view. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group of 7 to be comfortable. Easy to get around by bus and with some walking. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to staying at Maja’s house in the future.

We spent 1 month in this fantastic place & already miss the stunning views! We’re retired nomads in our 70’s, been on the road for 3 years now & Bruno’s place was the best of all the hundreds of stays in that time! We received such a warm welcome from Bruno & Maria Louisa, we felt right at home there. The kitchen is super well equipped-we even made fondue! The town nearby has great restaurants too. We loved hiking right out the door & up the hill for a panoramic view. We even walked over to Italy for the Saturday market just over the border. Spacious & clean, a wonderful time. Thank-you Bruno & Maria Louisa!

Very nice apartment with beautiful view of the lake in nice and quiet location.Lake can be seen even when lying down on the couch. Heating was turned on in advance so we came into warm and cozy apartment. Easy check in and very clean, kitchen has everything necessary for cooking plus coffee machine, toaster, microwave, etc.. Bed is very comfortable and there are additional blankets and pillows in the closet. Definitely worth the price and would recommend to anyone who wants nice and peaceful vacation.

Vincenzo was an amazing host. The place was absolutely beautiful, clean, cosy and comfortable. It was just what we were looking for. If you want a mountain getaway I can highly recommend it.

our second stay in this very beautiful place. very peaceful environment, the view of the lake is fantastic, a beautiful garden and the pool is wonderful to cool down on a hot summer day. we enjoyed our stay very much! the apartment is always very clean and well equipped and the large terrace is a big plus. carmen and her family are wonderful hosts, very caring and always super helpful. we received many great tips for good restaurants in the area, for visiting the markets and for things to do around lugano. thank you very much for the great time!

A beautiful apartment that keeps what it promises. 20 minutes walk through a forest path to the outdoor swimming pool in Gerra and beautiful views over the Lake. Also super equipped

Monica welcomed us and was always present if there were any questions on the spot. A wonderful little apartment with everything you need. Very cozy and central. Beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Petraglio. The village is quaint, the house is spacious and well stocked and the view was breathtaking. We loved our base for the week. The kids had a football pitch and little playground 2 mins walk away, the village shop provided any necessities (incl local beer) and we had great living, diving and cooking spaces with spacious, rooms and comfortable beds. Etienne and Chantal were very helpful and it was a shame we had to leave before the village party started (someone knocked on our door to invite us to join them!). We had young children and grandparents and I can highly recommend a family holiday here - I wish we had more time there!

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We enjoyed staying at Christina's place very much. If necessary, she was always there for us, but otherwise very discreet, hardly noticeable and visible even though she lives right next door. The large pool was great, except for the clearly audible duct traffic it was very quiet. There are many shops, Ponte Tresa and Lugano are quickly accessible and also in the village there are several easily accessible shopping opportunities within walking distance. Just great!! We stayed here the first time, but certainly not the last time. :-)

The listing is very accurate, and the home was fantastic in a great location with a spectacular view. For a very reasonable charge, the pool was heated which made a big difference when the weather was cooler than hoped for. We were a family of 6, and there was plenty of space. Every detail seemed to have been thought through very well. We couldn’t have been happier!

The host Patrick was responding in a clear and timely manner. The check in / check out process was easy. The house was very clean, well prepared, comfortable and organized in an efficient manner. The bathrooms were clean with enough towels & toilet paper. The kitchen had the necessary dishes, glasses, plates & appliances. The showers and toilets were modern and operated appropriately. The beds were clean and comfortable. The decorations, paintings & books were quaint, artistic and enlightening. The lake view is stunning and engaging. The yard is peaceful and serene with beautiful gardens, plants and trees. A local cat stopped by for a friendly visit. The lake, pool & restaurants located at the bottom of the mountain were very enjoyable. The nearby markets had anything we needed. Everything with our stay was excellent. This property and hosts are highly recommended.
