Das Haus ist vor über 220 Jahren als Tuchmanufaktur und Kontorhaus, einem sogenannten Weberwinkel, erbaut worden und steht unter Denkmalschutz. Die aufwendige Sanierung erfolgte unter Verwendung ursprünglicher, ökologischer Materialien wie Lehm und Eichenholz mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die alte Bausubstanz wurde dabei erhalten und eine moderne Wohlfühlatmosphäre geschaffen.

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. The outdoor area and sauna (for a fee) are available for use. The apartment is only 4 km from the historic city center of Bad Münstereifel. Relaxation - Sports - Nature - Shopping

The half-timbered house is located in the courtyard of the old rectory of Kirmutscheid/Wirft only 5 minutes from the Nürburgring. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen zu Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church which was built by Count Ulrich of Nürburg in 1214. The house with approx. 50 sqm of living space has been restored with great attention to detail and renovated only with natural building materials in order not to lose the pleasant indoor climate.

Our house is an ideal starting point for hikes on the Eifelsteig, around the Rursee and in the national park. From the private balcony you have a magnificent view of the Rur. On site, you will have to pay us an overnight accommodation fee in cash from January 1, 2025. It consists of 5% of the booking price. This amount must be passed on by us 1:1 to the municipality of Simmerath!
