The house is beautifully situated in the middle of olive trees, in the distance you can see the sea. The view from the terrace is a great photo motif at any time of the day. We were there with 4 adults. The house offers the opportunity to be private for everyone and at the same time plenty of space for time together. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. We will be happy to return. The house is perfectly equipped, with TV and WiFi, air conditioning and everything else you need. Electricity and gas are charged extra.

The property exactly matches the description and photos. The host has always been responsive and prompt, as well as accurate and helpful. The house is very nice and cozy.

When we come back to Italy, we will be reaching out to Carola again and stay at her place. The accommodations we fantastic.

We had a great stay in Follonica, not least because of our host. He was extremely friendly, always reachable and really cared for – even with homemade tiramisu! The apartment was clean and well appointed, everything went smoothly. Clear recommendation for anyone looking for a place to stay in Follonica.

great location - very calm and beautiful view on the bay of Portoferraio. We especially enjoyed the direct access to the sea for swimming and wingfoiling as well as the wonderful terasse where we celebrated our dinner every evening and enjoyed the beauty of the bay.

Beautiful house overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Incredible views, stunning big pool. Many terraces with a great view. Great kitchen which is well equipped. Generally the house is great, with a lot of storage possibilities, great for families. Definitely a place to come back to.

Florence was an amazing host and her home is spectacular. My family and I had the best time . It is centrally located on the island to drive where ever you want to go. My 2 year old son was with us and there were all sorts of toys for him and things to explore. She even helped us book activities on the island and was always available to help. The house is a pearl. In the immediate distance to the sea (about 100 m through a park and you are already on the beach) and also the town with the restaurants and shopping is within walking distance (about a 10-minute walk to shopping). The house has a great outdoor kitchen. Bikes for adults and a sup were at your disposal. Glad to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house! The property is charming, with stunning architecture and well-maintained surroundings, offering both relaxation and luxury. The outdoor spaces, especially the pool, were perfect for our group to unwind and enjoy the Tuscan sun. Inside, the house is beautifully decorated, with unique and elegant touches such as the grand chandelier and vintage portraits that added a special atmosphere. Marie Stella, the owner, was a delight to communicate with, and Susanne, our house manager, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Her warmth and hospitality made the experience even better. We spent wonderful moments here, from relaxing by the pool to enjoying family dinners in the lovely garden. It was truly a fantastic week, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan retreat.

It was a Family Trip for us (kids and adults, in total 10 people) and everyone was super happy with the place! The house is very nice and big in a perfect location. We felt home straight away. Everyone enjoyed the nice pool and we had a lot of nice Family-time e.g. with BBQ or doing our own pizza in the beautiful italian Pizza oven outside. The Communication with Pamela was genial. She helped us a lot with recommandations (Restaurants, delivery service, doctor) and always offered us that we can call her if we have any language barriers (e.g. with the doctor). Thank you for the great time! We can recommend the place for 100%.

Marta and her husband are true loves. We had a car breakdown and our vehicle remained immobilized on the island. They drove us shopping, brought us back to the boat. They were very helpful with the garage. Very accommodating. Regarding the listing, it is as described. It is pleasant, well-equipped. The view is splendid. Access to the freshwater swimming pool, sea and sea are very easy. Thank you so much for everything. We will be back again.

Our stay in Il Gattero exceeded expectations in every way. I'm not going to lie we struggled to find it initially as we used Sat Nav and it didn't get us where we needed to be to follow the sign posts. Once we arrived we couldn't have asked for better. Massimo and his family were perfect hosts - attentive, welcoming and kind. He offered us local recommendations of things to do and prior to booking Francesca gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations in different locations. Il Gattero is a stunning spot with gorgeous panoramic views across the countryside. The pool was well maintained and the patio furniture was comfortable and suited everyone's needs. The house itself was clean and well stocked. Anything we didn't have Massimo was on hand to help. Top tip: when Massimo invites you to dinner with his family and other guests take him up on it. The food and company was exceptional. Thank you so much for an incredible stay. Emma, Dan, Cathy, John, Sue and Barry!

This might have been one of the best trips I have ever been on. There were small issues, the largest of which was a language barrier. Yet even noting these feels dishonest to the brilliance of this home, the serenity of the location and overall comfort we experienced.

Staying at the villa with our friends was really nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the greenery, the pool, the barbecue, but above all the incredible view that surrounded the villa. The owners were welcoming and available for any eventuality. We'll definitely be back.

We were happy about the place, the house has enough space for a family of four. The garden and pool were perfect and the view from house was very beautiful. Host couple were very kind and helpful. Their dog Arya likes our kids and play with them.

Beautiful place and so spacious! The kitchen is well equipped with some spices in the cupboard too. There is a nespresso machine and the host left some pods, lovely to enjoy a espresso while taking in the quiet beautiful surroundings. Big bedrooms, pool and table tennis. We only stayed for two nights, would love to come back. It’s perfect

Donatella is a great host! Had a wonderful family vacation. There was nothing missing. The apartment and the outdoor area are lovingly decorated and green. The pool was the highlight of the kids. It has great sun loungers and several pneumatic tires and balls as well as different places in the garden with chairs and table. With the bikes provided we reached the breathtaking km long beach in 5-10 minutes. Donatella's restaurant recommendations were great! Thanks!

You can stop looking now! This is probably the most perfect place to stay and with the best host in all of Tuscany. This is said by a very travel and quite picky family from Sweden that this time went with three sons 16, 18 and 22 and the eldest son's fiancée. The host Lorenzo is absolutely amazing both before and during the stay: quick responses, incredibly helpful and very accommodating. You live in a renovated mill (two super-fresh separate buildings one of which is newly built) in the small village of Montefoscoli, with wonderful views of the landscape and sun location from morning till night. Large patio with barbecue and pool for lovely meals and relaxing. Inside there is everything you need and more: full equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing equipment, ac in each bedroom. Good wifi and TV box. Excellent little bakery 50 meters from the residence. A small Coop shop 5 minutes walking distance from the residence with everything you need. We've already told friends and acquaintances about this home — it won't be better!

A wonderful secluded villa on the top of a hill in Tuscany! What more could you ask for. Absolutely wonderful venue, with amazing views and everything you could ask for! Michela and Graziano are amazing and very helpful for anything that needs doing. My one piece of advise, if you rent this villa, hire a 4x4 vehicle, as the road to the villa is very steep and rocky!

We hade a perfect stay! The countryside and the seclusion was just great. For those who search a place to unwind after a day exploring Tuscany...this is it!
