Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Casey's cabin. The space is private and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. A perfect getaway for self care and pampering!

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful eco cabin, Kay was very easy to deal with and having the hot tub ready to go when we arrived was an added bonus! Every little aspect has been well thought out. Highly recommend

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

Convenient no frills accom in walking distance to town. We were slightly saddened to see that the hot tub wasn’t located in the garden of the unit as we assumed it was from the pictures. Extra towels delivered when needed and fast communication. Very comfortable bed. Great shower pressure.

Robyn and Dan’s place was amazing! Though it is nearby to a road, they made sure to make the property so private and cozy that you feel like no one is around! We stayed at many places while traveling NZ, several of them had outdoor tubs but Robyn and Dan’s top them all! They also left my husband and I complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon which was so sweet! The bed and pillows are VERY comfortable! Robyn was very responsive when we arrived. Highly recommend staying here!

they were very nice. even loaned me a chefs knife and some oil. let us pick some fruit from the trees. would recomend.

What a beautiful place! Jana and Sean were fantastic hosts. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. Every single detail had been thought of - bath salts to use in the outdoor bath, every cooking utensil you could ever need and little NZ chocolates on our bed. It was our favourite place we stayed in NZ by far and we cannot wait to stay again one day. The star gazing from the outdoor bath was a highlight. Highly recommend to everyone. The home is just like the pictures. Well equipped kitchen and comfy patio furniture (though that late afternoon sun is strong! lol) It’s about 1 mi walk down the slight hill to town. There’s a small brewery/cafe called Be Social just down the road that I highly recommend.

For us, the place was perfect to take the ferry the next morning, which is only 10 min away. Everything you need is available in the accommodation. Even a few welcome greetings were provided for us. We gratefully enjoyed the glass of wine on the directly accessible lake in the evening.

I have never used AirBNB before and was so impressed with this place and the hospitality and food provided during our stay. If we elected to cook our own meals, all the facilities were in place. Beds, linen and shower/toilet facilities all clear and functional. Hosts Maggie and Yves were very personable and helpful. I would definitely recommend The Gumboot Lodge as a stay.

Sana sent very clear instructions to access our cabin so we found it easily. We had everything we needed for a short stopover. We arrived in time for a walk around the neighbourhood, finding the play park and a little stream to wander beside. Great place for a couple.

What a magical spot. The cabin was comfy and inviting, the beds comfortable, water hot, and the view was out of this world. Loved everything about this wonderful spot.

Corinne's place is a little slice of paradise! The cabins are extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated, and everything feels ultra high quality. The views from the deck are just sublime. We loved sitting on the deckchairs watching the sun set and then stargazing after dark. Just magic. Thank you for a gorgeous stay.

Me and my Partner stayed at Cecilia's place for 4 weeks . The place exceeded our expectations and we throughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was also very responsive and active with any queries we had 🙂

Nice chilled holiday at a good location

Of the dozens of Airbnb's I have stayed at over the last decade, this one stands above the rest. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this stay was. Anna and Rob are such wonderful, accommodating, helpful, friendly, and welcoming hosts. The property is even more remarkable than the pictures do it justice, there is nothing like it. If you have the opportunity, this is an unforgettable stay.

Went for a weekend away. The hut is placed in the most beautiful, peaceful location. Sunrise was amazing and the sauna was a nice extra. Loved it!!

Our favourite stay so far on our South Island adventure. Stunning surroundings and beautifully presented property. So peaceful and quiet with an absolutely beautiful view of the stars at night. Wonderful hosts, very responsive and friendly, would stay again and recommend to everyone looking for a relaxing place to disconnect.

Kristine is a great host. Excellent communicator. Place was very clean and comfortable in an easy to find location. The inside was even nicer than what we anticipated from the photos! We would stay there again if traveling through Arthur’s Pass.
