Weka cottage at Restore Balance Retreat

The tranquil self-contained cottage is located on a 4.22ha property, which operates as Restore Balance Yoga Retreat Centre throughout the year. Over 3 hectares of the property is pristine native forest, encouraging fabulous bird life and located across the road from a great swimming hole in the Motueka Valley River. The cottage is ideally located to take advantage of the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks. The cottage can sleep 1 couple and 1 single on request.

Accessed from the midway point of the Queen Charlotte Track or by the Kenepuru Road, Ngahere Hou is a peaceful wilderness retreat set in 40acres of QEII covenanted bush reserve with access to a private beach. Living in the round with a Yurt and a wooden Summerhouse with a separate kitchen summerhouse. All with incredible views. A garden terrace with room to relax and dine outdoors including a BBQ. Features a private outside hot shower, composting toilet and hot tub under the stars.

You have a double bed, made up, a small kitchen (no sink) and dining table. For the adventurous at heart these 3 units include a traditional yurt and artfully designed Rimu cottage and Waipuna cottage. Definitely for the adventurous traveler who enjoys the tranquility of being close to nature. if booking please be aware you could possibly be sharing the shower, toilet and main kitchen. Also as part of The Sandcastle there is much else available - pizza nights, yoga hall etc.

Tiroroa Lodge & Yurt

Magical Mongolian Yurt set in 4 acres of private grounds with extensive views of the mountains. This spacious 6m yurt is equipped with a queen size bed and a pull out double sofa bed with a cosy fire place and seating area. A kitchenette and shower room are situated in the shed opposite the yurt. An outside bath makes the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine under the vast starry sky. Continental breakfast and grazing platters available on request for an extra charge.
