Shirley and husband were generous hosts. Super attractive home set up for guests. Room had balcony with view over lush flowering garden. Everything five stars including breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Shanti's place. The tent is super cozy and has everything you need to get a feeling of luxery while being outside in nature. The river that flows through her garden makes you calm down and the sun deck is perfect to just relax on. We slept like roses in the big comfortable bed and she even had bathrobes hanging which were nice and cozy after using the outdoor shower. Lots of things to do and see around the area to or to just have a coffee or drink. Definitely recommend this place! :)

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Lyn and Ross' place was exactly what we were hoping for. Clean, cosy, quiet, and a perfect halfway spot between Queenstown and Arrowtown. It was much better than what was shown in photos. Lots of thoughtful touches in the rooms.

Had a lovely stay with Carol and Geoff. They are very welcoming hosts and the bed is comfortable and the bedroom wonderfully quiet and dark. Such a treat to have fresh fruit from their garden too. Highly recommended!

Helen’s home is truly a hidden gem. We needed somewhere to stay close to Arthur’s Pass, and we are so lucky to have found this place. Our bedroom (and basically any other living area in her home) had an absolutely gorgeous view of the valley and the mountains. While we were there, another couple also was staying at Helen’s home in another bedroom. We all had dinner together that night and shared lots of fun stories. Helen was a great cook! She also made us a delicious breakfast the following morning and was kind enough to work around our early-morning schedule. Helen was not only amazing host, but also a very kind and gracious person. We felt so welcomed into her home almost immediately. I really loved talking to her about her outdoor adventures. She was extremely helpful and gave us suggestions on things to check out at Arthur’s Pass. Thank you so much, Helen, for your amazing hospitality! I wholeheartedly recommend Helen’s place!

It was just amazing with Joanne and Bruce!!! We were welcomed like family. Joe pampered us with donats, eggs, and emovents, among other things. Our room and our own bathroom was simply great. Learning about living as a sheep farmer was super interesting. All in all, there are no better hosts. Ute and Roland

This was my second stay with Karen. I'm a solo, senior female and her space is ideal. Clean, cozy, perfectly situated and very reasonable. And Karen is a great host. Highly recommend it for a solo female traveller.

Brilliant hosts fantastic place. Briar and Shaun are extremely welcoming and make you feel right at home in their beautiful house. They provide great advice and suggestions on what to do based on your preferences both locally and further afield. We had really great conversations and Briar makes really good cakes! As a guest you have access to the lounge area so can relax and make yourself at home. Definitely happy to recommend

Our stay with Michael and Jackie was the worthy end of our vacation. Both are such warm hosts. We felt very comfortable. Every morning Jackie prepared us the best breakfast. Fresh fruits, eggs, cereals, juice and much more. We were allowed to use their great kitchen. This place is highly recommended.

Just when I thought our Airbnb experiences could not be beaten there was Colleen and Trevor. They made us feel like family whilst still retaining discreet sensitivity to our privacy. Nothing was too much effort. Home baked goodies too! Beautiful Lilly the dog has been well trained to offer you as much or as little attention as you would like. We could not rate this stay more highly and hope to meet up with Colleen and Trevor again one day.

This place is a absolute gem. Sue and Ted are the most amazing hosts, I couldn't have felt more welcomed or at home. Unfortunately I had awful weather while I was there but I still had a lovely time, thanks to their hospitality and this lovely place. It was so cosy and comfortable, the hot tub was an added bonus and I was served the most amazing breakfast! The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and many lottle extra touches which go such a long way - a stocked fridge, chocolates, cosy bathrobes etc. Cannot recommend highly enough, I really didn't want to leave!

Charmaine is a lovely host who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She showed me around, pointing out where the ferry departs, where the stores are, and how to get to the pool, and she even waited for me to arrive. She provided all the essentials — coffee, tea, bread, jam, butter, milk, cereal, and some veggies — which was very thoughtful. The house itself is more than great! The decoration is beautiful, with cozy sofas and spacious rooms that look like they belong in a catalog. I had the option to choose which room I wanted, which was a nice touch. From the porch, living room, and my room, I had a stunning view of the ocean and the port. It was lovely sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee, just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The location is perfect — only one block away from shops, restaurants, and an organic food store and very close to the walking path to the Gondola, which is just a 40-minute walk from the house. I highly recommend Charmaine’s place! ❤️

Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!

Julian and holly are really super nice and patient hosts.We don't rent a car this time, there is a bus directly to the town center at the door, the bus is on time, the room is also very comfortable. This time, rocket and luna are also the best dogs, and I will definitely come to New Zealand again next time! (I hope luna's legs get better soon and get back to a healthy dog

It was a wonderful and spotless stay. I haven't experienced a better host yet. Kay was caring, gave us tips and we immediately felt at home and very comfortable. We would keep coming back!

We wish we had discovered this location years ago. It was perfect for our needs: close to a small but well-stocked supermarket, a small restaurant with great fish and chips, a delicious patisserie, and a very short, two-minute walk to the Clutha River trail and our grandchild. The apartment was very clean and neat, and just as described in the listing. The bed was very comfortable as well. Kirsty was polite, professional, and very responsive in all of our communications. If our children weren't planning to move, we would make this our winter home, due to the proximity to them and all the other amenities in Wanaka and Albert Town.
