Pleasant and cheap hostel. I would stay there again.

This is a gem. Amboise itself is a quaint and beautiful town, and Guillaume and Julia’s place is nestled right in the middle of it. A several minute walk from shops, the local chateau, and many restaurants. Although we were a stones throw to the center of the action, it was very quiet and private. Breakfast is a must. It consisted of fresh bread and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs in a darling sitting room in the main house. Lovely. Merci, Guillaume and Julia— we will be back!!

The house was ideal for our family holiday - five adults and four young children. The children enjoyed playing in the large garden and the adults enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi and sauna. On chilly evenings the fireplace was very welcome, with a plentiful supply of firewood. The hosts were lovely, easy to contact, were available for most of our stay and helped when our car tyre needed some air. We visited many of the châteaux in the area - Chateaux de Langeais, Ussé, Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau. We spent a full day at Center Parcs Les Bois des Daims - only 50 minutes drive. Wine tasting in Huismes - Chinon AOC. The house was overall very comfortable, spacious and generally clean, although we were surprised to find that bathroom cleaning products had not been provided and so had to shop for our own. Perhaps this was an oversight as we were early in the season. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful place, very well located for many of the main sites in the Touraine region.

our hosts welcomed us warmly, in a charming and neat home in a peaceful setting. they were attentive and made available to our families. the meals offered and breakfast breakfast were quality and well presented. We have excellent memories of these shared moments at their property. We highly recommend these hosts and is located less than 10 minutes from the zoo.

This is a beautiful stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The grounds are beautiful. The chateau is so charming. The swimming pool was fabulous! The proprietor was nice but not super welcoming like we had elsewhere. But definitely worth the stay.

Marie is an extremely welcoming and understanding host. The accommodation offered is impeccable.

Very good stay at Thibault's. From communication to the cleanliness of private spaces, there is nothing to complain about. I would recommend it, of course.

Great stay at Margaux's, we were a group of 15 friends. The space was clean, spacious, comfortable, and friendly. Equipped with everything you needed. Good communication with Margaux who was available if needed to answer our questions. Even though the owners have their home in the same courtyard, we had our privacy and independence completely. The accommodation is well located for visiting the area! We were able to adjust our checkout time for an additional cost. Recommended

Absolutely the best location for l’Abbaye. The staff were very good and there is a great vibe there. We found ourselves in a spot of bother with one of our motorcycles and Gavin and Kian the gardener/handymen came to our aid. Without their help we would probably still be there. We would highly recommend La Croix Blanche for singles, couples or families. We had a great time there

We had a great week too short at Marie and Maurice's who are very welcoming hosts and so charming and friendly. Quiet environment, in a beautiful green setting surrounded by horses and with a pool at the top, what more could you ask for? The property is ideally located near Beauval Zoo, the Castles of the Loire Valley and its small bucolic villages. We will come back without hesitation and with pleasure to complete the visit of your beautiful region and enjoy a peaceful setting. See you soon, I hope. 😉

Very nice well maintained estate with green spaces and a superb pool. The room was spacious and comfortable tastefully decorated. The staff is very kind of you.

Clean room, for 3 people a little narrow, great king size bed, indoor parking for a fee, international breakfast for a fee.

This is an amazing place in Chinon! We absolutely adored it and will definitely come back. The suite we stayed in was brand new, super nicely decorated and had a great bed. The bathroom had a good shower. The courtyard is really nice. Chinon center is at walking distance. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of home made things. Looking forward to our next visit!
