Holiday rentals with beach access in Upper Bavaria

We spent a full 5 nights with a toddler in this beautiful apartment and felt very comfortable. Our child especially liked the great view of the garden, where all kinds of animals such as birds, bumblebees and cats romp. As parents, we were more pleased with the wine as a guest gift, as well as the loving details like the fresh cut flowers in the vases. We arrived by train and the apartment was really easy to reach; the only hurdle was the gravel stones to the apartment door, which were a little difficult but not impossible to overcome with suitcases and strollers. The communication with Wolfgang and Andrea was uncomplicated, fast and always very friendly, also questions were answered superbly. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely book here again if we are in the area again!

If you are looking for a beautiful place inside and outside the apartment, with a wonderful sunset, a cozy balcony to read, streets to stroll, in short, paradise, go straight to Heidrun's apartment, who is also attentive, friendly and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable in Daniela's apartment, it is well equipped, super clean and modernly furnished. There is simply nothing missing, you can feel everywhere through the loving details that feeling comfortable is a top priority for the guests. We have not had such great mosquito windows and doors on all windows so far in any apartment, in combination with fantastic tranquility we have been able to relax superbly.

It was a wonderful, quiet New Year's! A spontaneous booking and not regretted! In the summer months, many activities are possible! In the off-season, a beautiful quiet place to relax! Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The apartment was clean and the communication was straightforward and friendly. It had everything you needed, it felt like being at home. The location is great, you can leave the car behind and walk to everything!

We felt very comfortable as a family with toddler (almost 2 years) in the apartment. There was enough stance for everyone. Shops such as Edeka or the beverage market are within walking distance, or even the boat dock. You have to go a long way to the playground, but that was not so tragic for us, as the apartment is opposite the cow pasture and there is plenty to discover. The area is good to explore by public transport and with the TegernseeCard you can also drive for free for the most part. Tobias was always easily accessible for questions in advance. We only missed the high chair a bit. We had a lovely holiday.

We had a great stay here, the property is comfortable, the bathroom is lovely in particular. The location is directly opposite a supermarket and restaurant and there is a very nice cafe downstairs in the building also. This was perfect for us, everything is very convenient. You can walk within a few minutes to an area of the lake edge where you can enjoy the lake views. There is also a park here and lots of benches along the walking area. The underground parking was also perfect for us and felt very secure. The host was responsive to a few queries we had and very friendly. Would recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Great house in beautiful location. We were 4 adults and 2 children (9 and 11 yrs) the house had plenty of rooms and a spacious outdoors area. Kitchen was very well equipped,we had most meals at home. We found the area around Fussen Schwangau had poor mobile coverage and printed map and directions really helped.

We spent Xmas and New Year at this house. Cornelia is such a great host. The house has everything we needed for our family! It was an amazing experience!

We spent a very nice week with the family in the great villa and felt very comfortable. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The house is very idyllic from the outside area to the furnishings and it is quietly located. We lacked nothing. We were warmly welcomed by Alex and his mother and we could also contact them at any time. The house is located close to Lake Ammersee, which we could easily reach on foot. We can give at least 5 stars and wish the other guests such a nice time in Villa Matilda and a good rest. Many thanks to Angela, Alex and his mother!

A particularly great place to stay, especially if you are traveling with children and like animals. The feel-good factor is immediately available, the accommodation is equipped with everything you need. The location is also great. We felt almost at home from the first moment and enjoyed the days very much! There is enough space, even if there are six of you.

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids (9 and 12) in the Easter holidays in the house by the lake and had a great time. The house is great, as described and the proximity to the relaxed swimming spot with beautiful sunsets make the location perfect. Christiana and Magnus are also extremely nice hosts. I'm sure we'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the flat has been done to a very high standard and is very well equipped with everything you need. Barbara was very kind and helped to make our Christmas break feel very special. We would highly recommend staying here.

We spent 4 nights in early November at Lake Ammersee. The house and garden are beautiful. The apartment is in the Basement, but is still very bright and cuddly warm, so a few rainy days we didn't mind. The view of the old trees in autumnal colors from the bed was my personal highlight. Communication with the host was very straightforward and on request she gave us a few things we needed for cooking. We recommend a long walk in the nearby forest.

We loved everything about this place! Such a fantastic little town on a scenic lake. We swam one evening, dined at a local restaurant another evening, walked to the bakery one morning, utilized the hiking trails to see Lainbach Falls, and were within reasonable driving distance for day trips to Berchtesgaden and Neuschwanstein Castle, which is what brought us to the area. The condo itself was also perfect for our family of five. We utilized the kitchen to make some of our own meals, had coffee on the balcony every morning, and the space was clean and comfortable with pleasant decor. Communication with the host was great too! Not sure if I’ll ever be back in the area, but if I am, I’d stay here!

Had a great time staying at Iryna‘s place! She was very friendly, responsive, and flexible. The apartment is right by the water and walking distance to Rottach-Egern and Tegernsee. It was clean and met our expectations. Until next time!

We spent four days in this beautiful apartment. Anke and her husband greeted us personally, were very friendly and showed us into the apartment. The apartment corresponded to the pictures, was clean, well equipped and nicely located. We found the terrace, the great lake view and the short path to the lake to be particularly beautiful. It was just as nice to see that extensive cooking utensils were available, which is not self-evident. We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is ideal for daytrips to Munich or the region south of Munich towards the Alps. A very important feature was the very comfortable bed !

Always happy to come back! We enjoyed our stay at Antonia's place. The space was cozy and spacious. Antonia had great amenities ready for our child. The welcome was very warm, we were even welcomed with homemade cake. The location is top, a short walk away (with playground on the way) is the boat dock.

Very nice apartment overlooking the lake. Parking available. In the kitchen, kitchen utensils had everything you need. Village shop and village cafe can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. Has now reopened with new owners. We would come back anytime.

The apartment has a great location, only the street separates you from the lake. Price performance is right. Dieter is always available and very friendly and helpful. In the summer it is certainly fantastic there.
