Stylish lodge and pool in the Charente countryside

A relaxing and peaceful lodge set in the grounds of a 200-year-old farmhouse in over 11 acres of orchard and meadow. L'oume Lodge sits at the edge of a meadow and has a private gated entrance and parking. There is a private terrace with a built-in BBQ and garden, beyond which is the gated pool area. The pool is 6 x 12 m with a constant depth of 1.25 m and a shallow side pool for young children. There's also a pool house/summer kitchen, BBQ and wisteria-covered eating area at the pool.

Situated on the banks of the Charente, the appartment forms a wing of an ancient priory, set in it's own walled seven hectare park. With it's own private terrace overlooking the river and a twenty metre swimming pool, the park also contains formal gardens, rose walk and stone steps down to the river. Located in the heart of a picturesque village, surrounded by vineyards, the house is a short walk to a Michelin starred restaurant and local bar. The Cognac Golf course is a 3 minute drive.

Le Chais is our lovingly restored distillery, an independent house for guests in the grounds of our property. We have brought what was an unused wreck up to its current state, offering really spacious, elegant accommodation in a truly idyllic setting. Surrounded by vines, in the heart of the Grand Champagne region of Cognac, we can guarantee you a quiet, restful escape. We are permanently resident in the main house so are able to give you as much or little interaction as you wish.
