Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Angoulême

We had an incredible stay at this house. It was beautiful quiet and peaceful, the pool was perfect and the house was lovely. Mark was very responsive and provided us with lots of information about the local area. Would highly recommend!

Very nice tastefully renovated cottage. Excellent welcome by hosts and very responsive to our requests. The cottage is well equipped , there is a bike shelter with everything you need ( keys , screwdriver, pump, electrical outlets...). 100% Recommends

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Very nice quiet place and very nice house, change of scenery guaranteed!In addition, the hosts were really very welcoming and warm, Camille does everything to make us feel at home, and gives good advice on activities and walks to do in the area. I was able to visit the Roman thermal baths of Chassenon, I recommend them! The whole family is very nice, even the cat. and the bonus: Miss Toutou is very very very kind, very cuddly and with my dog they heard each other great! I recommend this house and its hosts 100%!

We absolutely loved our stay with John & Terry! We can't say enough about how kind they are, how lovely their place & property is- truly one of the best experiences we've had. They had amazing suggestions for us during our stay, and everything we could think of in the space. Our two kids were so sad to leave when it was time to checkout, they made us promise that we'll be back! Thank you so much, John & Terry- we look forward to our next visit! :)

Very quiet and pleasant accommodation. Plenty of space and well appointed. I had a long stay and enjoyed this place all the way. Florence is very kind and attentive. I would highly recommend it.

the apartment is beautiful, the medieval style building delighted me, close to everything, wonderful restaurants nearby, the cathedral opposite is simply beautiful. I would definitely recommend it and will come back someday

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

This house is special, the first airbnb that we revisited, and we have seen a few. Beautiful garden, views, feeling of space inside and out. Kitchen, bedrooms with big and good beds, bathrooms, pool, everything is more than adequate. Hosts are friendly and responsive. We will undoubtedly be back for a third time soon…

This is a very well equipped villa. The location surrounding was a concern but we slept in late every morning so noise was not an issue. Very secure and not overlooked.

A wonderful home in beautiful surroundings - would highly recommend for a stay with family or friends. Great rooms, excellent facilities, stunning views and a pool! Isabelle was an incredibly friendly and helpful host - we will definitely try to come back!

Guillaume's house is beautiful, perfect for 8 to 10 people, to share wonderful moments. Guillaume is a very welcoming and very available host. I would highly recommend this charming peaceful retreat.
