Your apartment is at ground level with direct access to the terrace and the 2,000 sqm natural garden. You enter the apartment through a large wind trap, which delimits the hallway in the living area with another door. On the right side is the second bedroom with single bed and sofa bed (3 beds in total). Next to it is the main bath with tub, shower, toilet and large washbasin, all brightly tiled. Opposite you will find the dressing room with a gigantic built-in closet. Through the hallway you pass a storage room into the main living area. A bright, modern, fully equipped kitchen with 4-burner ceramic hob and 2-burner gas hob, baking oven, large refrigerator, modern dishwasher, coffee machine, etc. invites you to cook together, cozy. A generous "Sammelsurium" of cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and other kitchen accessories is also available. Directly adjacent to the kitchen is the dining table (extendable) for up to 8 people. Live cooking is therefore guaranteed. :-) The living room is also integrated into the kitchen-living room and offers a very cozy atmosphere with 2 sofas, satellite TV (48 inch LCD TV), hi-fi boxes for iPhone/Android/iPod (bestial noisy and with lush basses). Speaking of cozy: A fireplace is at your disposal too. And if you don't listen to music and television, we also have a few board games ready (chessboard, etc.) The very cozy master bedroom with extra shower room and toilet is located in the back and has a very, very back-friendly double bed with metal-free slatted frames, new, continuous mattress. If you can't fall asleep or don't want to get up, we have a 32-inch TV connected to a satellite. In the also ground-level laundry room, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron board and iron are at your disposal. You can also "dry air" your laundry in the laundry room. On the terrace you will find a table, chairs and on request also a barbecue and invite you to cozy evenings. Campfires in the garden are also possible! In the back of the garden, there is a swing for the little ones; or not quite as small ;-) As it is a cul-de-sac, we hardly have any car traffic here either! Location ========================== Your Apartment is far from any hustle and bustle. Directly behind the house begins the forest you can explore for yourself. Whether on foot, to Ross, to bike. In the morning you will be woken up by the birds. Or the cows. If you want, you can still drive within a maximum of 60 minutes by car to all Ruhr metropolises (Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Bochum, Essen, etc.) and have a connection to the world there. For example, you can explore the train station in Oberbrügge (about 8 km). The regional train takes you to Hauptbahnhof station in Dortmund. From Marineheide (about 18 km), another regional train will take you to the Cologne main train. Activities ========================== In addition to exploring the forest, you can also enjoy a number of activities for bad weather days. The nearby Lüdenscheid (about 19km) has all the shopping, sports and cultural facilities that your heart desires. Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. Walnut cottage on the Listerhof

Our "walnut hut" is located near the Listertalsperre on our property at a small pond. The cottage is newly renovated in 2021 and can be lived in all year round. Nature lovers will find numerous hiking trails, sports enthusiasts offers such as horseback riding at the in-house riding facility, water sports at the Listertalsperre, climbing or skiing.
