Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.

The Casita (large studio type) sits up above Sulphur Springs Valley at 4400', much cooler temps, over looking Cochise Stronghold and the Dragoon Mountains. Secluded, and views galore. Chirachua National Monument, Whitewater Preserve, Fort Bowie, Willcox, good food, wineries, old western town. If you have horses, we have accommodations on our other property for them . Our original to the town adobe style miner's cabin, built in the 1880s, will take you back in time with its scenic mountain views and breathtaking night sky. The interior of the cabin has been carefully restored using a historic color palate, craftsman-style furniture, antiques and decor. Situated just a block away from Tombstone Brewery and only two blocks from historic Allen Street - walk to the best Tombstone shopping, saloons and attractions, then kick back on our porch and relax.

Peaceful, Private Garden Casita

This little gem has it's own patio and private garden. It is a two minute walk to the beach - a wide, beautiful, & virtually deserted - lovely for swimming. Yet it is near the center of town, steps away from restaurants and outdoor activity providers. We appreciate that traveling during the pandemic can be daunting. We take cleanliness and sanitation most seriously. We have put a minimum of 2 days between guests. During that time, we will clean, sanitize and ventilate the property.

Time Capsule is a unique experience in an space age module dropped in the middle of an 11 acres desert sanctuary and sculpture park, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Enjoy the quietness of the desert in a safe environment located at just 35 minutes from downtown Tucson. Because of the refinement of the interior design we cannot accept any pet, service animal, nor children in the Time Capsule. Please note that check in is in person only and not later than 10:00PM. Welcome to the Desert Dome! We are located in small village of Chaparral, NM. This is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life while still having all the city amenities close by. You can find lots of hiking and biking trails in the area. We love furry friends, and would be happy to have your pets here too. There is a fenced in back area for their use. All pets must be leashed if not in the fenced area.
