The town centre, train station, public transport, various shops and eateries are 1 km away. Close to Paleis Het Loo, Apenheul, Julianatoren, Orpheus, Omnisport, Thermen Bussloo and the Kroondomeinen. The beautiful nature of the Veluwe with various walking and cycling routes.

Walden is located in the middle of the unique backdrop landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded banks surround the meadows. With grasslands, water and patches of forest in between. It looks cosy, those grasslands between the trees. Smûk, as we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area was also gifted with pingos from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 National Parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. An ideal area for cycling and walking.

Pilotenhof

Here you are a farmer on an arable and livestock farm. The ultimate place for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle, where you have a cozy home at your disposal. You will experience the tranquility of the rural area, although you will hear and see the cows, chickens, pigs and machines. Own potatoes, onions and eggs are included in the price, according to stock. Breakfast & meat can be requested for an additional fee, see pictures. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. It is uniquely furnished, with plenty of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

"The old meule" was built in 1877, which we turned into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available. At the back space to sit and barbecue. Also there is a private free parking space. A delicious full breakfast is included.

"Adults only" stay in horse stable with skyview

Stay on a (care) farm with cows, horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and dogs. The B&B is unique. Come and enjoy the National Park, the beach, the sea and the city of Haarlem, which is just a stone's throw away, with Amsterdam only 25 minutes away by train. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sky view from bed in any weather. Rural and yet again close to the village. Horseback riding is not possible, but of course pet and visit!
