Holiday rentals with lake access in North Sea

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

If you are on Retro, a highly recommended location. Wonderful to relax and unwind. Will we repeat in the summer and then it's on the water 😎

The Steelhaus leaves nothing to be desired. It is very high quality and nothing is missing. The view on the lake and a fire in the fireplace bring pure relaxation. Unfortunately it was not quite as clean as usual, there were problems with the cleaning company, but Natalia was directly reachable and could quickly find a good solution for us. For the sake of completeness, I would like to mention that the title of the listing said it was private and an island, which is not quite true, it is by a lake and there is a small walk along the house, yet it is very quiet. Since we have a very anxious dog, we were looking forward to the island. She hit her several times when she discovered someone outside. However, Natalia handled our feedback incredibly well and even changed the title here. She is a perfect absolutely warm host with a big heart for dogs! Our dog loved the in-house basket.

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

A very pretty and cozy flat in a great quiet location. You can comfortably walk along the water into the village or use one of Jacqueline's bikes. Jacqueline is easy to reach and very helpful. Highly recommended.

This place is a fabulous spot! The host is very friendly, responsive and easy to work with! The view is incredible with water on 3 sides! There are 3 floors so perfect for a family. It is walking distance to the supermarket, shops, and restaurants. It is easy driving to Amsterdam and other towns in the Netherlands but not in a crowded touristy area. This was the perfect stay, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful place, super peaceful location. Animals were always running around which made it even nicer. it's close to the beach and few minutes driving from the ferry.

We were on site over New Year's Eve and were totally happy with the location and quiet surroundings. The house is well equipped and we felt right at home. With the cold temperatures, the oven has a pleasant atmosphere. We can highly recommend the house.

Fouzia is a welcoming , available and accommodating host Cozy and clean accommodation, close to everything , and secure private parking is very nice I would recommend it

We spent a weekend in Ria's place with the family and our dog. The view of the lake is fantastic, the place was super clean, well equipped and as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are worth a visit - clear recommendation!

Great placeto go in Summer. it is located in a beautiful village in Netherlands. Property is Big enough for even 4 adults. Supermarket is around 5 kms.

Also suitable for winter: Beautiful view with large panoramic window and underfloor heating. Very carefully and practical furnishings: E.G. folding stool and well-labeled switches. Easily accessible by bike: Remels/Uplengen and Augustfehn - along the canal (there recommended Gardeur outlet). Other beautiful bike routes overlooking the water, e.g. along the Fehn route.

Arieh‘s apartment is on the bank of the Rhein, with a terrific view over the river. The location is very close to the central train station (6 or 7-minute walk), so if you want to be based in the center of Cologne for your visit this is an excellent spot. I stayed for a weekend of Karneval and the location really hit the sweet spot: it was very easy to go to all the festival events, but it was nice and quiet when I needed to rest. Arieh generously loads out the kitchen for you, with bread, cheese, meats, and some fruits and vegis so that you will have something to eat every day. There is also coffee and tea on-site. I bought some of my own groceries anyways but it was really a nice touch to have some food there upon arrival. Arieh even provides showergel and a toothbrush! So this place is really plug and play. Arieh is a terrific host who was in touch before, during, and after the visit. I definitely felt that I was in good hands. Thanks so much Arieh!

Not at all what you expect when you think about staying in a basement. The basement was quite large! You enter a hallway where the laundry, shower and washing machine are also immediately. Then go through the door to the kitchen (with all the amenities you may need) and if you walk through the large living room and bedroom, which are partly separated by an intermediate wall. The place was spacious and cozy in terms of layout. Nice sofa and large table where we could sit. The only downside was that there was not much light in the space, which makes sense given that it is the basement of Maurits' house. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay and rented bicycles from Maurits, with which we cycled to the forest and the lakes. Maurits and his wife Gertie were very welcoming and friendly and communication went very smoothly! Very good experience, so definitely recommended. p.s. there was also a conservatory that we were allowed to use (cold, but still nice!)

What a wonderfully spacious apartment. It was more spacious than it looked in the photos. In the evening very cozy with the stove on. All amenities were good. For us the perfect base for a few days of nature and city. We were there in summer winter but for other seasons also a really nice place to stay. Thank you!

A great stay in complete silence. Four days in the foggy cold of January with ripe on the trees and reed, a winter fairy tale viewed from a warm room where the fire creaked. We enjoyed and would love to come back!

lovely place for rest and relaxtion

Just coming back, let's think about when we could come back. We immediately felt at home and spent a few very nice quiet days in front of the fireplace. The free entrance to the really great swimming pool was the icing on the cake. Through the Schleichweg you are also lightning fast at the supermarket and great excursion destinations such as Ribe, Rømø or Møgeltønder can all be reached in about 30 minutes. Perfect! 🥰

A beautiful place on the water, from the cottage you look out over the water and there is also a nice seat on the water. The food at the Duck is highly recommended!

We have been able to completely unwind in this beautiful cottage. Tineke welcomed us and gave useful tips on the places we could visit. The location is, by the way, an ideal base for exploring the area. The accommodation is also well equipped. Everything was perfectly taken care of: from the modern amenities to the tasteful decor. We would love to come back to enjoy nature and the morning orchestra of the many birds in the garden.
