We especially loved the many lovingly curated recommendations for restaurants and leisure activities – this allowed us to experience some real highlights that we would probably have missed without your tips.

we had a great stay. with 4 adults and 6 teenagers there was enough space to play games with each other (are also present there!), eating, swimming and cycling. Nice spacious rooms with plenty of bathrooms.

We had a great stay at Sylvia's place. The house itself is huge fun: it is enormous, with a fantastic open-plan aspect, a very well-equipped kitchen, a huge master bedroom, a luxurious jacuzzi and a great outdoor pool which the kids loved. Sylvia and Peter were perfect hosts: they were communicative from the outset, and responded very quickly to our messages. In short, we can't recommend this place enough!

Unfortunately, we only stayed at Kerstin's place for one night, but everything was great for it. The communication in advance was very friendly and helpful. The instructions on how to get to the accommodation were also so clear that we made it in the dark. The flexible check-in helped us enormously here, as traffic had changed our plans a little. It is very quiet, very clean and if you are looking for some peace in the countryside, the perfect place and the surroundings to explore or just look at a few stars at night.

What a wonderful place and a great host. The house is a lovely vintage thatched roof house with waterfront on both the back and front of the house. There are kayaks and a paddle boat for fun which we used. The area is quiet with quaint villages nearby and a grocery store less than a mile away. We had a very good experience and I recommend it highly to anyone wanting be close to Amsterdam but sleep in the peace of the country.

Our stay at Jacomine's place was incredibly lovely! The place had a great location, it was super quiet and the nature around it was insanely beautiful. Jacomine and Bert took great care of us at all times - even with minor problems. We would come back :)

Really a nice stay, incredibly spacious, everything present, wonderfully covered outdoor place. The peace and accommodation ensure that you can relax wonderfully and refuel! Aljanneke is an enthusiastic and very cozy host!

Perfect week with friends in quiet comfortable home. The beds were REALLY comfortable, home temperature was perfect, living room cozy. Really nice place for dogs 🐶

Fantastically cared for stay. Anything you need is present. Very nice, cozy house. Less than 15 minutes by bike from the center and shopping center around the corner. We enjoyed the stay immensely!

This a beautiful and spacious home surrounded by beautiful grounds and water. It was so peaceful to walk around town, quick walk to the bus to go to the nearby cities to visit quaint shops and for groceries. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other parents going to visit their children studying abroad.

Our stay couldn't be better. We were there with the family for a week and the children (5 and 2) could not ask for a better garden (rather playground)! Very friendly host. Great in one word

We had a wonderful time at this great place! The cottage was exactly as described – clean, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you might need. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere. The check-in was super uncomplicated and the hostess Marloes was always available and very very friendly. We would come back anytime. My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property was just a dream.

Very nice quiet house in a residential area with a pleasant exterior for both adults and children with its trampoline. Bruges 25 min walk which is a charming city. Shops nearby . Very well equipped modern house with a large very bright living room. The toys available delighted the children. Recommended without hesitation and Marjolein is very available .

Nice short stay by the sea. We were very well hosted by Patrick who is very friendly. The house is very nice and well decorated, you feel at home. There's space and there's nothing missing. Terraces and garden are a plus. It must be very pleasant during the summer. Beware of the stairs that go to the downstairs bedroom as they are steep but this is a detail. It's getting used to it. I would recommend this place and we will surely come back for a future stay. 😊

The Matthieu home was perfect for our group of 6. We each had private space while still enjoying meals and relaxing together. The home is exquisitely designed and decorated - minimalistic at its finest. The blue stone on the outside of the home came from our family quarry which was fun to see. We brought our staff to Europe as one last hurrah before retiring at the end of the month. The trip was for them but we enjoyed watching Belgium through their wide eyes. This is the perfect home for a larger group!
