This is a small-scale leisure park in Aldwald, set in the beautiful Frisian 'coulissenlandschap' (rolling landscape). At a distance of approximately 30 metres, you will find the waterway, from which you can take a boat to Lauwersmeer or Dokkum in no time. Our caravan is located 10 km from Dokkum and 3 km from Veenklooster, where the Pentecost Festival is held. Ideal for socialising and then unwinding afterwards.

Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Enjoy pure nature and spend the night in our shepherd's wagons (similar to tiny houses) in the middle of the sheep pasture. The wagons are comfortably furnished with complete bathrooms and a small kitchen, so you won't miss anything. The sheep wagons are close to the main building of the Friesenhof - there you can take advantage of all other amenities: breakfast buffet, farm shop, wellness, children's paradise, bicycle rental, fireplace, etc.

Our large garden with old oaks, (the oak processionary moth was professionally vacuumed and disposed of by a specialist company) invites you to linger. On the private terrace there are sun loungers and on request a fire bowl ready to enjoy the time in nature. Discover the surroundings by bike or on foot right in front of the trailer door.

Dandelion Lodge

You will find our Löwenzahn Lodge on a small meadow on the outskirts of the village. The newly built car in 2024 offers everything you need for your stay. In addition to a small kitchen, there is a double bed and a pull-out sofa. So you can stay here with up to four people. The car has electricity and water. Shower and toilet are just 100 m away. The surrounding countryside and the idyllic village invite you to discover or relax.
