This is a quiet villa area located at an altitude of about 1000 meters, on the Iizuna Highlands. Built in 2022, a simple log house with plenty of wood aroma. You can find lots of beautiful scenery in just a 10-minute walk. Check out Mt. Iinu from Oaza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iineta Higashi Ward)! The next closest bus stop (Iinetate) is about a 7-minute walk. You can also get here by public transportation. Walking distance to restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, hamburgers, etc. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also a great base for golfing and skiing in the direction of Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. Please also use it for the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomi Trail, and climbing Mt. Iinu. If you want to go to a hot spring, Tengunokan at Lake Reisenji is about a 15-minute drive away. The public bath is about a 5-minute drive to Asobiba. Discounts on bathing fees. We lend projectors and screens free of charge. Play games or screenings on a big screen. We also recommend relaxing with a barbecue, campfire, or tent sauna. A set of BBQ equipment, tarps, sauna tents, stoves, etc. Please book in advance for rentals. Of course, you can bring your own.

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You will have full access to a comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, a natural garden that creates seasonal views, and a forest with a stream.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoon dogs, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
