Castle holiday rentals in Province of Viterbo

Staying in Castello di Proceno felt like being transported to a medieval fairy tale - the interior and the atmosphere are breathtaking, it's super comfortable and peaceful, the views are stunning and our evenings by the fire with candlelight and a glass of wine will become our life-long memories. Cecilia is the sweetest and the loveliest host - we felt so welcomed and taken care of as if we were family members. Great idea to take advantage of the tour around the castle (led either by Cecilia herself or her granddaughter) to learn more about the family history, traditions and climb up to the very top of the castle tower! Magical experience all around.

Wonderful stay. Giuliano's place is bang on in the center of the town of Pitigliano, a lovely medieval citadel with stunning views and incredible history. Bars, cafés, shops and restaurants are all conveniently located near the property. The apartment is just as in the pictures: cosy and charming. It is also very peaceful as it's inside a castle's courtyard. En suite bathroom in the master bedroom, comfortable bed, antique furniture and clean towels and linens. Kitchen equipped with all necessary amenities. Excellent place to stay either for a weekend or for longer. We stayed for a week and it felt like being home. Giuliano is a wonderful host. He provided us with very useful information about the surrounding areas and places of interest. Communication was seamless and everything went well. I would totally recommend staying at Giuliano's place, and would definitely go back.

L’alloggio è curato e perfettamente integrato nell’atmosfera medievale. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca autenticità e accoglienza di alto livello!

Great value for the money. Outside Todi, which makes it an ideal location to explore little villages around like Orvieto and Civita. It’s so nice to have the car parked right there and not worry about parking in the old town. Rooms are lovely, with a stone ceiling and yet modern bathroom and heating - AC. Breakfast is lovely and the food abondant. It’s truly magical to stay at some 15th century castle. Would highly recommend.

Wow wow what a beautiful place! I can really recommend this place and we wish we could have stayed longer. Ippolita and her husband were very nice and easy going and made us feel very welcome, inlcluding their lovely dogs and cats. The house is so cute and tidy and has a beautiful scenery - it’s like a movie. We really wanna go back here in the future! This is a great place to relax and it’s also very close to Tuscania with many restaurants and things to see. If you are, just like we were, wondering where to go and what to do in Italy (there are so many options)- don’t miss out on this beautiful place. It’s 10/10

Nel borgo di Ronciglione sembra che il tempo si sia cristallizzato in un'epoca passata. Uno straordinario borgo, di cui il castello rappresenta una gemma. Una vera esperienza medievale in un vero castello. L'appartamento rappresenta solo una parte del castello, ma anche tutto il resto del castello è liberamente visitabile ed esplorabile. Essendo il castello nella parte più alta del borgo, da lì si gode di un bellissima vista sul borgo e sull'agro circostante. Da menzionare anche il fatto che l'appartamento è pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort che la modernità ci offre.
