All the reviews were true--very clean, great location, easy check-in! The bottle of wine was an excellent touch, and I would stay here again. I didn't know overnight parking would be just a little difficult but they left great instruction in the welcome packet which was helpful. A wonderful time.

My partner, myself, my 12-year-old son, & his friend spent one night here & it was so enjoyable. Very clean, easy arrival & departure, we were provided with an excellent guide to the area & Milwaukee both digitally & a paper copy in the apartment. It was comfy & well provisioned. I would definitely recommend Kyle & Rutjie to anyone wanting to visit Milwaukee.

Ryan's place was convenient and had everything that we need. The hosts were very easy to work with and helped us get checked in a little early. I would like to suggest that they get a new mattress in one of the guest rooms, as you could feel nothing but metal springs when you laid on it. Other than this, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

Cozy feel and a convenient location

Location left something to be desired but nice, clean and easy to get to.

We arrived in Milwaukee for a National Fencing tournament. We checked in and found an amazing old home with lots of history. It was very roomy and cozy at the same time. If you are visiting Milwaukee and want to truly feel like a local Ryan's home is the place to stay!

Ryan and John were fabulous hosts and the house is great for an overnight trip to Milwaukee. It had all the perfect amenities that we needed for our stay - fridge, pizza cutter and beds. Kidding aside, it was clean, bright, open and the beds were comfortable and spacious. Our Uber to the Bradley Center was only $10 - so that was great. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely stay again on our next visit.

This was a great, quiet, peaceful and clean place to stay. I booked this place for me, my handicapped sister, my teenage daughter and two of her friends. We were in Milwaukee for three days and two nights. This place was very accommodating and offered all of the things I needed for a worry free stay. Thanks so much to the hose who was both friendly and readily available when I did have questions. I am going to highly recommend this place to anyone that is planning a trip to Milwaukee.

We spent an extended Christmas weekend at Ryan's place. It was also the occasion of our mother's 90th birthday. Our family of 7 were able to unite from all over the country comfortably in this flat. It was close to our family in Wauwatosa. Beds were comfortable, thermostat worked but was complicated to understand. All heating vents were closed but once we opened them and moved beds away from them we were warm. Kitchen was terrific. So nice to have washer and dryer. Do bring plastic ware if you have large family.

Ryan's home had everything you needed for a short stay. I would be a little leary about staying in this neighborhood with small children. Mine were 2 & 5. This home is great for larger groups and proximity to downtown is great. Right off the freeway.

The location of Ruthie's apartment is perfect. It's an easy Uber to local attractions like Miller Brewery and Miller Park and walkable to nearby bars and restaurants. It was a cozy apartment and perfect as a home base during our trip.

What a beautiful and spacious apartment! The place was very clean and our host clear and concise with check in and check out procedure. I will stay here when I go back to Milwaukee

Ruthie's apartment was exactly as promised...big and beautiful. The building and the unit have undergone a gorgeous remodel. I cooked dinner each night and had everything I needed to prepare a meal; the nice gift bottle of wine she left was a very sweet touch. The bed was AMAZING! And the linens were soft and cozy. TV and wifi were awesome! I caught a Lyft Downtown to my office each morning and it was a snap! I highly recommend Ruthie's apartment to anyone visiting Milwaukee! You won't regret it!

Check in and check out we're easy and stress free. The Roku remote was missing and what seemed like immediately they dropped of an Apple TV. Great hosts great little apartment. Plenty to do within walking distance.

Ruthie's apartment was a large, beautiful place. It had everything I needed for a quick trip, and the lockbox was so easy to use. The location is right on Brady with tons of food and bar options! But still quiet, even though in a very busy part of town.

Great place for a very good price! Tony was very quick about getting back and answered every question that I had. No complaints here!

TJ was very accommodating when my boyfriend and I's flights into and out of Milwaukee put us outside of the usual check in and checkout times. The house was in a really fun location. We were able to walk to anything we needed including a Whole Foods, several morning coffee options, tons of restaurants, and even a great brewery. It was also nice having a kitchen. We were able to stock up on breakfast essentials and avoid eating out for every meal.

Tj is a wonderful host. He answered all of my queations in a timely manner. The location is very close to downtown, reaturants and breweries.

I had two business visitors from out of town stay here, and the location and space were perfect for them. The home is cozy yet with a modern kitchen.

Gorgeous kitchen-easy access and easy parking-

A snowstorm canceled our flights to the east coast at the last minute. It was a great find for the family.

We were literally only here to sleep so it worked well for us... the beds were really comfortable, but must be brand new because the plastic was still on them (so it was a crunchy night). Check in was really easy, and parking once you figure out how to get to the alley. There were three beers and opened bagels and oranges in the fridge when we got here but since there were no signs or instructions inside the home, we were unsure as to if they were provided for us or leftover from previous guests. Plenty of utensils and things to cook with if you're planning for that though! We didn't get a chance to explore but it looks in walking distance to some nightlife and shops right down the street!

Highly recommended!!! This house was gorgeous, comfortable, and well equipped! It was a quiet residential street but a short walk from restaurants and night life. We were a short cab ride from anywhere we needed to go. We will stay here again!

The place was perfect for a weekend get away in Milwaukee. It's close to downtown and many main attractions Milwaukee has to offer. The expressway is two blocks away which is a plus.

Our entire trip was great! Jacob was exceptionally easy to work with and communicate with, was helpful in working out scheduling, and made sure the place was in great condition and comfortable. We easily accommodated 4 people very comfortably. The next time I'm in Milwaukee I would happily rent this location again!

Jacob sent a note a few days before my trip, providing detailed check in information and making himself available to answer questions about his home and Milwaukee. I had an easy time checking in and getting settled. The home is adorable, well appointed, and spotless, just what I was looking for.

Jacob did everything he could to make me feel welcomed. He maintained contact throughout the booking process and as my time in his studio drew nearer. When I finally arrived, it was as though I was coming home to a place I had known. There were no surprises, except for the lovely mints, popcorn and various personal amenities he had arranged. I knew that the neighborhood was in a "transitional" part of Milwaukee, but everything he did ensured my safety and security. At no time did I feel insecure or worried.

We had great stay at Jacob's beautiful studio. Such a gorgeous place! The neighborhood seemed a bit rougher than we had expected, but the place itself was beautiful, really cool architectural design. The mints and coffee were a nice treat. And, we very much enjoyed having access to the garage and not having to worry about looking for parking. Thanks Jacob! We felt right at home!

Jacob was thoroughly hospitable and quick to respond! It was comforting to know that he was always on hand to answer any questions or concerns that might come up. He also provides great suggestions for places to eat, shop and visit. The home was beautiful and spacious! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to do some simple cooking, and the bathroom was nice, clean and updated. The garage was a plus! We loved our stay, and if we are ever in Milwaukee we would definitely stay again!

Space was a tad cold but the shower was fairly big and water was consistently warm! Beds were comfortable and Chris was flexible!

I was unable to stay with Susan due to vehicle trouble however her communication was on point. She was very friendly and very open. I totally recommend her.

Great room, great host. I felt perfectly at home staying here. They treated me like a visiting member of their family and I will be back the next time I have an event in Milwaukee. Everything was exactly as advertised, but their warmth and kindness can only be experienced when you stay there.

Loved the stay. The place is surprisingly quiet considering how much business there is so close by. Plenty to do and lots of places to eat. Be sure to arrive before dinner though! Parking can take some time to find because of all of the restaurants close by.

Extremely convenient location for me. It's a busy street and might be too much for some people, but I enjoyed it. The room is not fancy, but had everything I needed. Getting picked up at the airport was very helpful. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Though Simbi was traveling when I stayed, Andrew was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. When I missed my train and had to check-in at nearly 10pm, he was very cooperative and helpful. The room is simple but clean, and the location is wonderful. I would definitely stay with Andrew and Simbi again and look forward to shopping in their new boutique!

This was such a great location on Brady St; next to bars, cafes and a Walgreens next door which was super convenient! It was just a short drive to really anywhere else in the city too, I was surprised how close we were to downtown. Simbi and Andrew were great hosts, helped us check in and then left us be unless we needed something, just a text away. Parking I think was our only kinda negative thing, not host's fault since we did stay during St Patrick's Day but just know it is metered parking but free from midnight to 9am and free on Sundays. Thank you Simbi and Andrew!

This was my first time doing a "private room" rather than having an entire place to myself. I definitely felt that I got my money's worth in value and location. Things to consider before booking: -The kitchen is equipped for heating things up (oven or stove) but not particularly for cooking. -The house is pretty quiet, so in my closed room I could hear Simbi and Andrew talking and the wood floors do tend to creak when someone walks around. Not a big deal for me as a heavy sleeper, but might be for a light sleeper. Awesome things: -Hot, hot shower after the Wisconsin cold. So nice. -Comfy bed! Firm, excellent mattress. -Simbi is super nice and personable. She helped whenever I needed anything and responded to my messages immediately. -Location is really cool. Overall glad I stayed with Simbi and Andrew!

The room was very comfortable. The bed is definitely a little small for two friends, but we expected that. The apartment is very well located, a lot of entertainment options nearby.

Simbi's place would be great for a couple or solo traveler. It is in a great neighborhood and is close to the lake and lots of great shops/food/bars.

I went to Milwaukee for an interview. Gabriela and Roberto were amazing hosts. I regret not spending much time with them but certainly, the experience was wonderful and highly recommended. The few time we spent together they demonstrated to be very empathic and attentive people. The cats they have are extremely friendly and a good company at night! I give my highest recommendation to this place and encourage anybody who wants to stay in a safe, cozy, and friendly place to book with them without hesitation!

Staying with Gabriela and Bobby was great! These two are amazing people and really opened their home to me. My first night, they even fed me with some delicious home cooked dinner. I had no familiarity to the city, but they were able to provide many suggestions on things to do and sites to see. The place is cozy as well as private enough with the separate room. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Milwaukee. Thanks you guys!

Usually, when I stay at Airbnbs, the host is absent -- so I didn't know what to expect when it was clear that Gabby and Bobby would be in the apartment at the same time as me. Turns out the trip is way better when your hosts are around, because you wind up making new friends as part of the trip! G&R are as much a reason to visit Milwaukee as anything else out there, and their place (while a little small) is lovely and as well-located as they say. You will love your stay here!

Gabriela and Bobby were fantastic hosts with great tips on local attractions and fun to simply talk with! The room was exactly as is described in the listing. Their place is close (walking distance) to breweries and restaurants. Also their 2 cats and 1 dog are hours of entertainment. I would highly recommend staying at Gabriela's home.

Very nice hosts, a nice bed and enough room for your stuff. The cats and dogs are a lot of hair. House is very central and close to nice restaurants and a supermarket.

It is easy to go to downtown either by bus or on foot from the house. The room is quite cozy and quiet. The host is friendly and kind. I was really satisfied with the home!
