Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Te Waipounamu / South Island

Loved this beautiful wee place. So perfect to relax and get away. Lovely and private (couple cars going to sheds but not bothersome) and got to wake up to some cows in the paddock which our daughter loved. Really friendly & helpful hosts

Great spot, getting a noise alert call in the early morning when everyone was asleep was weird but it was a big rain storm so guessing that triggered some sort of monitor

The most beautiful home to make some memories in! Location is perfect and so good for swims and walks along the waterfront. We didn’t want to leave!

Pretty much all good. My only minor complaint is the window in the bathroom gets a lot of water on and has a small amount of mold starting to form (poor design on the placement and materials). It's not the end of the world but other then that the place was immaculate clean and we really enjoyed our stay here. It's not worth taking a full star off in my opinion. Great kitchen which was really nice. Lots of room for a big family but I was just staying with a small family. Manapouri is one of my favorite places in the world and hope I can come back sometime. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely place to stay in Tekapo. Only 10 min walk to the lake, 15 min to the restaurants cafe supermarket. Lots of privacy, just in harmony with nature, lot of birds. The place was impeccable, clean, tidy and well furnished. We will definitely go back again!! Thank you Tracey!

Suntrap indeed! Followed it from sunrise til sunset on different decks. Comfy beds. Gorgeous bathroom. Big back yard. Easy walk into town. Love the ‘vintage/ retro’ bits and bobs. Great host

This is a luxury property beautifully presented with a fantastically stocked kitchen. The outlook to the tree covered hills is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing around the outdoor fire. We all thought that the spacious living spaces, stunning decor and quiet location was great value.

Great house, exquisite and cozy, fully functional facilities, and the surrounding environment is truly beautiful.Just the first impression is wanting to live here for a lifetime hahaha😆

We absolutely loved our few days at Lisa and Owen’s place- probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, and particularly amazing to watch the sunrise from bed in the morning. The house is very well equipped with everything we could have needed, and Lisa and Owen were super helpful and welcoming during our stay. We loved Mapua itself, which had great coffee shops, restaurants and bars looking over the water to Rabbit Island. Highly recommend a visit! Thank you Lisa and Owen!

Luxestay makes vacationing in Queenstown an absolutely breeze. Unbeatable views from our accommodation and immaculate bathrooms. We enjoyed the subsidised car rental and Hilton hotel perks. The in-room guide was also very helpful for local recommendations. Would not hesitate to book again with them.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

We loved our stay at Dean and Kat’s place, the townhouse is very new and styled modern and cosy. There is everything you need with a well equipped kitchen , the place is maintained very well and clean, the only regret is that we stayed for one night this time due to time constraint , will definitely have to come back again!

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

Probably the best AIRBNB I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Design of the place was very thoughtful and homely. Lovely touches like lemon tree & lavender in the back! Host was very responsive and helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer. Very close drive to main town. Thank you!

An absolutely wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The outside bathtub was an absolute highlight. Greta location to drive up to Abel Tasman for a day as well.

Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Casey's cabin. The space is private and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. A perfect getaway for self care and pampering!

Lake Kaniere Lodge surpassed our expectations. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Was more than adequate for the requirements of our group. Tranquil setting with beautiful view out over the lake. Showers a bit tricky to operate, but certainly no complaints for the price. Many thanks

The cabin was very clean and well provisioned. Breakfast was very nice with a variety of cereals. The walk down to the beach was very nice and ended in gorgeous views. Nigel was friendly and helpful. It was a great stay!

I had a great two nights in the cabin and a nice time despite the rain. No one can do anything about the weather. :) The sauna was a nice change of pace. The location is perfect and the entire property is tiptop well maintained and beautiful. You can tell there's a lot of love and work in it. The pastures around it and the view also contribute to the feeling of well-being! We'll be happy to come back anytime! Only "hook": In advance, I would have liked answers to two inquiries, which unfortunately remained unmentioned. This didn't detract from the stay, but it felt a little weird. Maybe they went down. I only mention it for the sake of completeness, otherwise was absolutely satisfied and am glad to have found this accommodation. Definitely worth seeing.

This place was so magical with so many interesting things to experience. We had a wonderful time using the outdoor bathtub, enjoying a campfire underneath of a beauty of night sky. The Host went out of her way to help us with a few food items, as the near store was a bit far away and we checked in a bit late. We could hear the ocean from her place too, very peaceful.

This is a great place to stay. So comfortable and so private - a short walk to the most amazing beach - all the comforts of home and a hot tub! Amazing sunset views from the comfort of your own veranda. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed just the one night, and felt so comfy and cosy at Tiny house. The property had evening you could possibly need, which was so handy after being out on the road. It was lovely and peaceful watching the sunset. Comfy bed, hot, refreshing shower. Thank you!
