It is located 200 m from the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is much to discover, e.g. Hachenburg with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald Seenplatte, Bad Marienberg with climbing and animal park.

There's nothing here but lots of nature! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 square meters with private bathroom), but it is also great to just wrap up for a weekend. Please note: The nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as shopping, is an 8-minute drive away. Edeka/Penny 8 minutes, the nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM is 12 minutes away Bonn 45 - 60 min Cologne Bonn Airport - 45 minutes Cologne 1h- 1.15

Lovingly furnished 1-room apartment that invites you to relax with a small kitchen, bathroom and covered balcony. The apartment is located in a detached annex. Located in a small village in the countryside about 5 km from the nearest main town - ideal for hiking or cycling in the adjacent nature reserve or in the idyllic Siegtal. Nature lovers and hikers/cyclists are in the right place with us. Since the annex is difficult to heat, we do not rent in the winter months.
