My place is a wooden house built by local carpenters with local timber. We use 100% renewable energy and even the waste is off grid. Situated in our 2 acre garden in a residential neighbourhood, opposite the pine forest. You can walk to the village for boulangerie and restaurants. We are 15 min from the Atlantic beaches of Contis. 43 m2 cottage with a bedroom with bathroom and a 25 m2 living room. Open and well-equipped kitchen. A full west-facing terrace and a nice wood-burning stove for the winter. This gite, like our neighboring home, was self-built with the utmost respect for the environment: Wood and natural materials, phytosanitary purification with pond and plants, insulation and high-performance waterproofing.
