Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lugano

The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

Barbara's apartment is a wonderful location to explore the city of Milan. The private parking space and shared courtyard are great points. The apartment is charming, very welcoming, you feel very good there. Barbara welcomed us in person. She is very nice and friendly and even speaks French! Thank you for everything Barbara!

Very happy to have stayed at Davide's place again. We feel at home in this beautiful perfectly restored rustico. The village is a little gem and the place is very quiet. In short, the whole family loves it.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

I had such a lovely stay at Enrica’s place! She is truly a wonderful host, exceptionally kind, helpful, and generous. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and offered great local tips that made my visit comfortable and easy. This was my first time to Milan and once inside the elegant gate to the building and location of Snezana’s and saw the apartment, I felt right at home. Everything was so clean and tidy and just perfect! Check in was very easy and friendly. Snezana was very responsive and kind answering any follow up questions I had once I was settled in. I would stay here again and truly loved my experience in Milan. I loved that there was a dishwasher and washer and dryer in the space as I have been traveling for 3 weeks and it was a luxury to do my own laundry. Also, a supermarket near by was excellent. I highly recommend Snezana and the experience in her apartment and neighborhood while you are visiting Milan.

Great location, cool decor, clean, tidy, friendly host and a really cool lift

Alessandro was the perfect host. He managed to find me on my way to the flat as I was getting stuck with my suitcase in the rain upon my arrival in Milan. I was impressed with his kindness, flexibility and smooth communication. Alessandro's flat is in a historic building, and yet the interior is modern and functional with a few quirky details. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and recommend it highly, not least for Alessandro's hospitality.

We truly cannot say enough great things about our stay with Laura. From start to finish, she was the absolute epitome of hospitality. Even months before our trip, she thoughtfully provided a detailed guide with the best local spots to visit, restaurant recommendations, and transportation tips — whether we planned to rent a car or take the train. When we arrived, the apartment was spotless — truly immaculate — and Laura welcomed us with a thoughtful check-in gift, making us feel immediately at home. Throughout our stay, she checked in periodically just to make sure we had everything we needed and even thoughtfully provided umbrellas when it started to rain. Every detail, from start to finish, was handled with such care and warmth. The location was also perfect — convenient to everything we wanted to experience in Milan. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base.

Such a nice view through the balcony. It was clean and nice place to stay. Luca is friendly. Responds my matters within minutes. Only thing was we were not able to handle room tempreture as we want, he was handling it through app. How ever highly recommend this place for calm stay!!

Enjoyed our stay in Milan in a really nice and comfortable apartment in a great location. Lots of nice restaurants and bars just a few minutes away and very good transport links.

Andrea’s apartment was clean, spacious, and matched the description. The kitchen was well-equipped and Andrea provided many recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and local amenities. The apartment is a little further away from the downtown areas and ferry terminals than we expected, but it meant a lovely walk along the water everyday. This beautiful location and the lovely little cafe across the street are highly recommended.

Beautiful area, fantastic view of the lake from the balcony. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, but a car is advisable because of the location. We enjoyed the time very much, also the SPA area is highly recommended. Communication with our host was also very good. We will be happy to come back!

Our hosts got back to us very quickly when we had questions. Davide greeted us at the sidewalk and was friendly and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The entire apartment felt like being at home. Train station was only a 10-minute walk. Milano and Torino were a short train ride away. Novara is much easier to navigate than Milano and Torino and has everything you need, including great stores. I messed up my reservation and thought we had another night and they let us stay for a small fee. This was the best Airbnb and VRBO experience we’ve had!
