Kurohime Ski Slope is a 5-minute ski from the hotel, and there are numerous ski slopes within a 30-minute radius, offering a variety of terrain to enjoy. We offer free rental of a simple BBQ stand and fire pit. On bad weather days, you can play darts, Jenga, and ping-pong indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and sauna. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. It is about 7 minutes by car to Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, about 8 minutes to Ikenohira Onsen Alpenbrix Ski Resort, and about 13 minutes to Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
