This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 m. Newly built in 2022, a simple log house with plenty of wood scent. You can see a lot of beautiful scenery just a 10-minute walk away. Please take a look at Mt. Iinoka from Oza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about 15 minutes by car. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. You can also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomitai Trail, and Mt. Iinago. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, it's about a 15-minute drive to Tengu-no-Yado at Lake Reisenji. The large public bath is about a 5-minute drive to Asobiba. Discounted bathing fees. We will lend you a projector and screen for free. Play games on a big screen, or have a movie night. We also recommend relaxing with a barbecue, campfire, or tent sauna. A set of BBQ equipment, tarp, sauna tent, stove, etc. Please book all rentals in advance. Of course, you can bring your own.

[Hatago-ya Togari] A hidden retreat in the great outdoors of Togakushi Kogen National Park

A stylish inn in a renovated old house nestled in the Iizuna Mountains.There are a few houses nearby, but it is a world far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.Outside the window, a beautiful world of the four seasons spreads out. It is a private rental limited to one group per day.Please enjoy some quality time with your family and friends. It is also close to tourist spots such as Togakushi Shrine, and is a great base for sightseeing. Forest Village in Daiza Hoshiike, about 10 minutes by car, has a zipline and field athletics.There is also the Iizuna Kogen Horseback Riding Club nearby, where you can enjoy horseback riding. Next to the inn is the owner-operated farm, "Mama Tomo Farm Togakushi", where you can experience harvesting.There is no shortage of fun memories to be made, such as making jam with rhubarb, stuffing your mouth with blueberries, and roasting corn and sweet potatoes over a bonfire.A child who hated tomatoes tried one that they picked themselves and now loves them.We started the farm with the hope that it would contribute to such food education. It is a calm space with an old house motif. The living room has a large sunken kotatsu style Irori fireplace where you can enjoy meals and drinks. There is also a 4-seat counter bar. Nozawa Onsen Ski Area, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Area, and Tohachi Onsen Ski Area are all nearby, making it the perfect base for winter sports. In the green season, there are eight golf courses within an hour, including the Madarao Country Club, and many day-use hot spring facilities. The owner lives on the right side of the entrance and can be contacted at any time, and understands everyday conversational English. In the green season, you can harvest fresh vegetables from our own farm at any time, and enjoy a barbecue in the garden. The garden is also spacious, so you can also enjoy a short walk. Iiyama's specialty is the famous green asparagus, which can be enjoyed from May to July, and there is also a roadside station nearby where you can enjoy fresh vegetables and delicious buckwheat.
