Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Sea

Quiet, private place on the lake. The weather did not allow for a swimming pool. Spacious loft for 8 people. But without a car, logistics will be difficult. The owner and staff are very friendly, and quickly solve emerging needs while staying.

Great host and beautiful home!!

We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

What a gorgeous, well appointed house. There was a supermarket nearby and bus stop to get into the centre of Haarlem which was beautiful and very interesting with so many things to see and do. Hosts were very welcoming, wine, waffles and chocolate on arrival! Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for a wonderful weekend break.

We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

The Matthieu home was perfect for our group of 6. We each had private space while still enjoying meals and relaxing together. The home is exquisitely designed and decorated - minimalistic at its finest. The blue stone on the outside of the home came from our family quarry which was fun to see. We brought our staff to Europe as one last hurrah before retiring at the end of the month. The trip was for them but we enjoyed watching Belgium through their wide eyes. This is the perfect home for a larger group!

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

Excellent location, close to the city centre, it was easy to walk home from everywhere. Nice apartment, very approacheable owner. Instructions were communicated in a timely fashion. Was very easy to get into the property. Can’t wait to come again.

First of all, I was very satisfied with the terrace in this accommodation! And Ronald was so kind and recommended things to do nearby. If you are coming to Cologne, this is the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay in Brussels from April 18 to 21 with our little one, and this apartment was absolutely perfect for us. It’s clean, cozy, and very well-located — close to public transport, shops, and cafes, yet quiet and peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was very comfortable for staying with a small child. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and the warm welcome from our hosts — they were kind, responsive, and made us feel at home.

Second time we return to this apartment and probably NOT the last time 🤩 the accommodation is super conveniently located and matches the description! The host is super responsive and nice:) check-in and checkout are done independently and super easy! There are plenty of children's games right in front of the apartment and the view is beautiful! In short, a perfect stay again! Recommended +++

It's always nice to get there. The children immediately feel comfortable and start playing. Absolutely nothing is missing and Andrea is always immediately available for questions!

This apartment is highly recommended! It looks exactly like the pictures provided and contains everything you need for a successful stay. You can park right in front of the house and there is a nice balcony on the sunny side. Especially for families with children, the apartment is excellent as there is a separate children's room and a play area in the living room. Particularly noteworthy is the perfect location - you can be by the sea in two minutes and have many beautiful cities to explore all around. Jan-Jakob is the perfect host - he is very friendly, quickly accessible and immediately on hand in case of problems. We felt completely comfortable here and would come back anytime 🥰

We had a great stay! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful — we arrived quite late, and we really appreciated that he waited for us. Communication was smooth and fast throughout our stay. The apartment was in excellent condition. I especially appreciated the workspace setup — it included a desk, docking station, monitor, keyboard, and mouse, which made it super convenient for both work and gaming with my own laptop. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the combined oven/microwave unit was easy to use. There's also a dishwasher, which made things even more convenient. Parking was free and easy to find right downstairs. There are supermarkets nearby, and a large shopping mall is just a short drive away. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

The apartment was clean, spacious and welcoming. The four of us were very comfortable and if back in the area would want to stay again. Excellent location, walking distance to everything, but very peaceful. Jeremy was super responsive and attentive to any questions we had and we would absolutely recommend the host and property.

Very nice apartment, clean, well equipped, 2 minutes walk from the sea. Everything you need nearby (bakery, butcher, spar,...). Welcoming, responsive hosts, we were able to check in early and check out later. Very good place, we only stayed there for a WEEKEND but we can spend a long stay there without any problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

a very nicely furnished and clean apartment with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the location. You walk out the door and you are right by the sea. You can walk to everything. In the immediate vicinity is a small yacht club, which also offers drinks and food in a very nice ambience. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice hosts, friendly and accommodating. The studio is clean. However, there is a slight cigarette smell in the room. The one that is either there through the open balcony door or because before it was allowed to smoke there in the room. A small flaw under the bed is present , the fabric is torn. It doesn't look nice, but it doesn't affect sleeping comfort . The bed is 180 cm and has a slightly softer mattress. We slept very well there. The view of the sea is fantastic . Breathtaking altitude. We will be happy to come back.

We were very enthusiastic about the beautiful, quiet place and the particularly friendly host! Both were helpful and very accommodating! All kinds of toys and an extra bed were prepared for our child and the animals in and around the garden were very popular with our little ones. We felt absolutely comfortable and would come back immediately!
