Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in South West England

I really enjoyed my stay on Craig’s place, very peaceful, neighbours very friendly, easy access to town centre and shops.

The apartment was excellent with a wonderful view overlooking Teignmouth sea front. The bedrooms also had lovely views of the Teign Estuary. The apartment was spotless, and both bedrooms had comfortable beds. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

A rejuvenating place that felt like staying in someone's warm (not just in temperature) and characterful home. We enjoyed feeling relaxed here from the moment we arrived. The surrounding fields and orchard with a river running through it was idyllic day and night. I was rewarded for being awake by the sounds of tawny owls calling back and forth. Thanks Jim and Sally for the little touches and thoughtful hosting.

Luigi was extremely friendly and personally came to check in and check out which was very helpful. The place is extremely clean and tidy and has everything you would need. It is a quick very scenic walk to the center of town. There is also an available free parking spot, which is great because parking is very tough in town! It was a wonderful trip! Thank you Luigi for a terrific, care free holiday!!!

The apartment had all the facilities and equipment one could wish for. It was very comfortable and full of interesting photos and memorabilia .

An absolutely wonderful stay! The location was great and it was the perfect cosy getaway. Such a great property with everything you would need. It was very quiet and a close walk to everything in town. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very responsive. Looking forward to booking again!

My wife Jan and I stayed at Mark and Helen's Apartment for a few days and found it very spacious and clean with separate living/kitchen/dining, bedroom and large shower /bathroom areas. All the necessary kitchen utensils were included as were toiletries and towels/flannels. Mark was available at all times should we need any help. We would definitely stay at this Apartment again.

We stayed for 4 nights over bank holiday May. We decided to add the 4th night and go down to Devon on Thursday evening which made it much easier to park up, we used the parking permit which is very helpful in Dartmouth. The apartment is well positioned right in the heart of Dartmouth so everything is 5 mins away! The apartment is perfect size for the 3 of us (and a small dog). Kitchen was well equipped and the scones, jam and cream was a lovely treat! We have stayed in other apartments in Dartmouth before and the parking permit is very much needed so great it’s part of the hire. We would definitely return!

The house was very convenient and big enough for the guests. it had parking for two cars which was useful! The house looked exactly like the photos with plenty of space. the road where the house was looked nice. We walked to the centre and found it wasn't too far.

The house and gardens were absolutely perfect for our annual get together. From multiple spacious living spaces and a well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms the whole house is exceptionally well thought out and a real home from home. The real standout though is the outside space. We spent lots of afternoons and evenings outside on the patio under the gorgeous pergola or in the hot tub and the space is peaceful with beautiful views across to the Malvern hills. Dionne and Mark were superb hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a fantastic week and we are all keen to revisit the house soon.

Firstly, Jac was an amazing host. So friendly and very quick to respond to messages. Nothing was too big an ask and he was always happy to help. The house itself was amazing. Immaculately presented, extremely comfortable and we all felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside the front door. It was easy to find and clear instructions from Jac made it easy to get inside and start making memories on our post Christmas family trip! We all very much enjoyed the generous welcome pack left for us (dogs included!) and the welcome sign left for us was a lovely personal touch. 100% would recommend this place and 100% would stay again- hopefully in the summer to enjoy the beautiful outside space as well as the house

Fantastic location and accommodation was ideal for 5 couples.

We had a most wonderful stay, the Byre was clean and very well kitted out with all the essentials to make it a home from home, the Byre was also perfectly accessible which was a high priority for us as well as being so lovely and warm. The location is very peaceful, I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment was warm & comfortable, but has many windows which can be opened to get the breeze, plus the patio is quiet & nice to sit out on. The off street parking was very convenient. A 2nd toilet is always useful. It's within walking distance from great pubs & restaurants. The main smart Sony TV in the lounge is quite a few years old & therefore doesn't have many apps...Netflix, YouTube & BBC iPlayer were the only ones that are relevant...I tried to add ITVX & some others, but there is no way to do this. Also, you can't properly cast to this TV with a phone or tablet as the TV doesn't support this feature. You simply have the basic Freeview channels for live TV. The hot water pressure is very strong, but as I like a long shower, the hot water didn't quite last as long as I'd hoped & I had to have much shorter showers on the remaining days here. A negative! The house was far bigger than we expected, which is always welcome. Not the cheapest, but fair value for money.

Such an amazing house with everything you need a more. Clean and tidy. The best 3 nights. Peaceful and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble and they replied really quickly to a questions. Thank you so much x

Such a lovely house and location, Jonathan is a great host, responsive and helpful. We have stayed here a few times now and we definitely hope to return again!

We had a great short stay at Zinc 9. The appartment was exactly what we needed, and actually felt much bigger than the photos. It had everything we needed and was very handy to have the parking attached as well. The appartment is in a great location and has a large veranda overlooking the golf-course and out to sea and the location was perfect, quiet whilst we were there but a short walk to Fistral beach one way and a few minutes to the town and harbour the other.

Our second stay, lovely apartment in a quiet location at the rear of restored former school, with parking space (very valuable in Ashburton).

We had a great stay. The flat was incredible - convenient location, great furnishings, great design. Absolutely loved it. One of the bedrooms had enough room for me to set up the travel cot we brought, and the ground floor location made getting in and out really easy. Parking was great and the instructions for the permit were really easy. Overall, we’d definitely book again!

The host is very understanding, chill and just wants the guests to have a good time visiting the beautiful city of Plymouth. The home was fully equipped with dishes and there was a Nespresso machine and teabags as well as some sugar and milk sachets. There were also enough supplies such as detergent pods and dishwashing liquid and shampoo and shower gel! The host had thought about everything to ensure a comfortable stay. It was indeed very chic and very cozy and Richard was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had! I highly recommend this Airbnb if you visit Plymouth- it ticks all the boxes! I was very wary of airbnbs before staying at the chic apartment but I am so glad I chose to stay here for my first time visiting Plymouth. Although the hotels might have cost a little less it would have been very inconvenient and not as welcoming! The apartment is also very secure and safe in my opinion. I am definitely returning and I genuinely and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here

You have to stay here. It is fabulous. Stylish, fabulous location, accommodating hosts and the perfect place to make memories. The sun pours in all-day through the South facing bay windows and the decor is as stylish as it looks, with the high ceilings. Anna & David are super hosts. They met us at the property at check in and they accommodated our bikes in their own private shed. Enjoy this beautiful place located in the Isle of Wight micro-climate.

My recent stay at Phil’s house in Cornwall was a truly pleasant experience. The home was modern, functional, and thoughtfully maintained, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. Everything was spotless and well-organized, with all the essentials clearly in place. Phil was an excellent host — responsive, considerate, and easy to communicate with. He shared useful local tips that helped make the stay even smoother, from recommendations for places to eat to practical advice for getting around. The location offered a great base to explore Cornwall, but what stood out most was the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the house itself. After days spent out and about, it was the perfect place to return to — calm, easy, and hassle-free. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend Phil’s place to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable spot to experience Cornwall.

Cong’s place is such a gem! Perfect location - easily walkable to the Thames and High Street, shops and grocery right down the street. Very quiet and peaceful, no street noise noticeable. Great little kitchen. Comfortable beds, including the pullout in the living room. It is notable that both bedrooms are up a fairly steep staircase. Not a problem for our group, but good to know for those with mobility issues. We would absolutely stay here again! Exactly the kind of place you’re hoping to find on Airbnb.
