Villa holiday rentals in South West England

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

Very nice place to discover Cotentin! The view is exceptional over the Bay of Becquet and the bay of Cherbourg. The house is decorated with taste and character. We were able to enjoy the large terrace and beautiful sunsets. A house we recommend that will surprise you with its view! Plus, a beautiful beach can be reached in a few minutes!

Treventon is a beautiful house that provides a homely atmosphere, but with some intriguing art work and design features. The kids loved the garden and the games room. Although there ws 11 of us, we always felt there was space and nver felt like we were on top of each other. Viva was very helpful and knowledgeable on the local amenities and wider area. We had a lovely week, thank you!

This property is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for access to all local areas of interest. The instructions from the host were clear and regular so there were no issues or problems.

Olivier‘s place was perfect for our family starting into the new year. Cosy fireplace, big kitchen, large dining table and plenty of space to chill, read books and take short or long walks along the beautiful coastline. The six of us all felt right at home. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful group stay at Anthony’s beautiful home. It is a unique property, rich in history and stunning interiors. The large garden was lovely to relax in and we enjoyed several local walks. The house is warm, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Anthony was kind and responsive from the start and could not do enough to help. We would recommend this property highly.

A unique set of suites in a very large gorgeous house. There was so much room for our family ranging from 3 to 73! The communal area was used all the time and the bar area was a wonderful bonus. It really became our ‘home’ for the week and we all felt very relaxed. The suites were first rate having everything you could possibly need and provided the ‘bolt hole’ where people had their own space as well. There are so many beaches close by which we visited- Hele, Combe Martin and Woolacombe- great for paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing- we had a busy time! Neil was such a good host providing very quick responses to my many questions in such a friendly way! Would highly recommend this property for a large group. Thank you Neil.

Absolutely stunning property, I have never stayed in a house like it. Truly beautiful, wonderfully equipped and an ideal location. Communication with the hosts was faultless and simple. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Hilton was always responsive, great house, location and had almost everything we needed. Would recommend this accommodation and my family was happy over Xmas, the Xmas tree was a plus we did not expect but was perfect for the time of year! We had a great time thanks Hilton & Vivenne.

My daughter booked the house for 6 adults and 4 toddlers/babies. I did not look at the advert beforehand and it beat my expectations. I would give it 11 out of 10. The house was very modern and spacious and was ideal for small children from the playroom with games/books/colouring/blackboard to step in the downstairs toilet. The very safe trampoline and large grass area for ball games. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom and ensuite bathrooms were spacious with great shower. The kitchen also had all the equipment that you would need for a long stay. I would thoroughly recommend the house.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

We had the most amazing time away as a family for Christmas. The place was perfect for our youngest member of the family under 1 years old, all the way to our grandparents. Everyone felt at home, with space to relax on their own and together. The walks around the estate were perfect for the mornings and the location was perfect for a short drive to the local towns and beaches. Thank you Emilie and all involved! One of our favourite Christmas' together.

Kirsten and Ben's house is a hidden gem. You can tell a lot of care and love has gone into it and the photos don't do it justice - the views and sunsets are stunning. It really is amazing and was perfect for us. The living areas are both really spacious and bright with nice big bi-folds. We found the layout of the house ideal for our group, and we were all able to find a corner to ourselves when we wanted. The house was spotlessly clean and everything was brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed and the stocked cupboard was a bonus as it was great not having to buy things like herbs and oil. The bedrooms were ideal and the beds were both very comfy. We needed the sofabed too which Kirsten arranged. Everyone slept well and we all loved waking up to a sea view. Outside had so many sunny seating areas and the house was basically on the beach which meant we really felt like we were on a seaside holiday. It really is amazing, we loved it and can't wait to come back.

Lovely open plan living space with beautiful outlook across the lake. Plenty of room (esp. bathrooms) for a busy family. Set in well designed grounds with excellent facilities

The hosts were great, they were there to greet us and show us around. The property was very well equipped ans filled with ameneties, it was also spotless. Would definitely visit again!

We had a great time and the property was very well equipped with its own parking space The house was a good size for 4 adults and 2 children We liked the full size dining table and really appreciated the 2 bathrooms The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped albeit rather small! Excellent wi fi The site was very well maintained with good amenities We would not hesitate to recommend ' 100 ' to others

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

We had such a fabulous weekend at Otter's Holt celebrating my brother's 50th. The house is beautiful with wonderful views and extremely well appointed -we had everything we needed. Lorraine was very responsive when we had some problems that we needed help with. We all loved the outdoor pools at the spa and the kids enjoyed hiring canoes to paddle across Howell's Mere. We hope to visit again.

House was lovely. We spent Christmas week with multi generational family and it was perfect. Plenty of room and very comfortable. House was exactly as expected with lots of great amenities and tidy. We were able to prepare a full Christmas meal with everything there!. Lots of beautiful villages to explore nearby. Jan and Jamie were responsive and friendly and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and settled. Definitely recommend.

Can’t fault it. Best place we stayed so far. Lucy was very friendly but also gave us space, we felt like home. Will definitely go back!!
