Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

A little haven of peace in a bustling urban setting. The Bus stop at the end of the road takes you into the city centre. N.B. The hut is situated in our garden, facing our family home and there is limited outside space. Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.
