Cottage holiday rentals in Côte d'Argent

We left at 3 with our 2 and a half year old and had a memorable stay! The owner was very welcoming, the timeless place close to the horses in a green setting! The house is very nice, functional and contains everything you need with a hot tub as a bonus! We went on a horseback ride especially for my son and my wife. The host was ultra flexible and available to accommodate our constraints. She even let us check out later to make it easier for us with our child's pace. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. We loved our stay with Elodie. The place is beautiful and steeped in history. The exteriors are particularly neat and the ambient calm is extremely relaxing. This tastefully renovated charming cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a great weekend in this comfortable and spacious place. The location allows you to enjoy the calm. The charming decor added a nice touch to our stay. We especially appreciated the amenities and cleanliness, the functional kitchen, and the comfort of the bedding. We had a few ants in the room but nothing serious. We booked a 1h30 private session at the hot tub spa, it was divine! We highly recommend this welcoming cottage for a relaxing and exotic stay... Thank you

Beautiful site, in the countryside, well designed and very pleasant accommodation, however a little too close to the communal pool.

Robert's house is perfect for a birthday with about fifteen people. Special mention for the terrace and the view, as well as the "ballroom"! Too bad the hot tub decided to be capricious

Absolutely fabulous location, room was very clean and comfortable, Jesus thought of everything, even bought breakfast items for the following morning, which we didn’t make use of due to leaving early for our trip ahead. Overall, fabulous host and surroundings.

We loved the accommodation as much as for the comfort, the treatment received and the kindness of Arantxa and her family, we appreciate that upon arrival the fireplace was lit so that we were well. It is ideal to rest and disconnect. All this along with a priceless, priceless view of the area. I highly recommend it, thank you so much for everything.

Small house in the middle of the pines with a very pleasant exterior, not far from the ocean. Loyal to the photos . Communication with Yannick was at its best . Great for a little Landes break!

We (two families, two toddlers and two babies) had a fantastic stay at this beautiful place. The garden is indeed a real treat and most enjoyable with the afternoon sun and a good apero. There are also plenty of toys for younger kids to entertain themselves outside, including a little wooden house, bikes, trotinettes, etc. Very close to the beautiful beaches of this region. Don't hesitate - you'll have a great time in Tom's place!

We spent the weekend at David's house because guests at a wedding nearby, the listing perfectly matched the house, David was a responsive and attentive host. Our stay was very nice.

Whilst driving through France with our dog, we saw this gorgeous place was available and thought we had to come and stay, and I’m so glad we did! It felt like we discovered such a gem in a gorgeous setting. The hosts could not do more for us to ensure we had a good time staying - even going as far as finding us a Cognac tour that was open on a Sunday and allowed us to bring our dog to, just so we could enjoy what the area does best! It felt like a huge hug being welcomed into Jonathan & Samantha’s place, with fresh baked goods dropped off in the morning and some really beautiful touches throughout our stay, it really was so perfect. We already can’t wait to come back. Thank you! X

Great stay in a bright, clean and tastefully decorated lodge. Quiet, surrounded by nature. Well located because it's close to the ocean, bike paths, lakes, Cap Ferret... Even if you have to take the car, they are short distances. Recommended if you want to have a quiet stay, enjoy the pine forests and the Arcachon Bay.

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

We only stayed one night at Ludivine's but found everything we needed. The beds are very good. The neighborhood is very quiet. The listing is exactly as described in the listing description.

We appreciated Patricia's hospitality. The little house is located in a quiet environment outside the tourist season. The house is well decorated with the "marine" theme, very well equipped and functional for a couple. The immediate environment is very well maintained. We were there as part of a bike weekend.

Nadine is very welcoming and pleasant . The accommodation is really perfect, it feels very good. it is very well located near the city center (5min walk). my stay was very pleasant, I would recommend it and I will be back. Marie

great quiet stay with many activities offered on site, friendly and family-friendly, nice walks to plan: hiking, canoeing, beaches and lakes to visit. close to Bordeaux. the hosts are very nice, discreet and welcoming. I recommend it!
