Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South West England

Orchard House is lovely family home, very comfortable for a large family group stay. Our weekend was a birthday treat for a grandparent and two families with 5 children. Agnes left her own children's toys available to play with and that made the venue a great hit with our youngsters. That and the spacious and extremely well equipped rooms made our weekend a great success. The location is easy to find and well placed for anyone visiting Oxford and the surrounding areas, particularly convenient for Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. An all round 5 star venue and a great and considerate host, Agnes.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

We loved the Boothy and it was a wonderful getaway on the coast.

Our stay at the Farmhouse was a perfect getaway. A 10-15 min drive away from a huge array of different beaches and bays, with Padstow just round the corner also. Joseph was super friendly and responsive, and the property was exactly as described. Perfect for a family or small group of friends.

Big family Christmas get together and I couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend it! Tracy met us at Hollycroft and gave us a tour - it’s bigger and even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was spotless, warm and welcoming. We filled the huge fridge with our food stash but luckily there is a spare one in the utility which was perfect. So much space to run riot (kids!), relax, have time out or just all be together in the huge living room with the log fire and the beautiful country kitchen. Bedrooms are gorgeous and comfy. Showers are hot and powerful. Super soft towels, pristine bedding and even logs for the fire all included. Loads to do - dress up box, games, pool and ping pong tables, DVD’s… Outside there is loads of space to walk and explore, large ponds, rowing boat and ducks! We had so much fun and cooked lovely food (kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need). The kids absolutely loved it. Supermarket close by. Perfect in every way! Thank you Tracy

Thank you Maria and Graham for a lovely stay in your wonderful home. We had a fabulous holiday and the house was the perfect base for everyone. The setting was idyllic and house was spacious and had everything we could want. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub! We would recommend to anyone.

We had a great stay at spindles for New Year’s Eve. The property is well equipped and spotless and exactly as described. It’s is well located with a great beach a short walk away. It truly was home from home but with the added benefit of a great pool table which we used a lot. We didnt use the garden but it was a good size and would be a lovely space during summer. Andrew was responsive on messages and very informative, he also allowed us a late check out New Year’s Day which was an added bonus after the late night. Would highly recommend x

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by our lovely hosts.. The location is fantastic with good restaurants, an incredible harbour and miles of white sandy beach within walking distance. The novelty of staying on Sandbanks added a unique interest .. we loved it 😊.. Thank you Madeleine, Michelle and Nick for your warm hospitality 😊 x

An amazing stay! Easy check in, felt really comfortable and cosy. David and Pamela are so helpful and friendly. Tonnes to do in Weymouth; we'll be returning to P&D's - definitely not just because of David's scrumptious homemade bread rolls and Pamela's delicious mulled wine! would recommend :) / have already recommended

We had a fabulous two night stay at the Old Post Office to celebrate a birthday. Already familiar with the area as we have visited Broadway a couple of times previously and centrally located with the added bonus of car parking. The flat was beautifully appointed, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Lizzie was an excellent host, with clear instructions and very responsive.

My wife and I have just had a fantastic stay. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Easy to find. Much bigger than you think. Well equipped kitchen and good bathroom. The garden is an additional peaceful oasis. Listening to the friendly cockerel in the morning and the owls in the evening was nice. Also the sounds of the stream gently running by at the end of the garden,bring a peaceful end to each evening. Alison is a wonderful host. Friendly and helpful, she adds to the experience. We hope we can visit again soon.

Beautiful apartment with stunning sea views, are family loved sitting in the living area and looking out at the sea. Also sitting in bed in the morning drinking coffee looking out at the sea.

Louisa was an exceptional host! She allowed us to check in early, which was incredibly helpful as we arrived straight from the airport with luggage. Her home is perfectly located, a 5-minute walk to the town centre and next to a large Sainsbury’s, making it easy to buy supplies and explore the beautiful city of Bath. It’s also a 5-minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a quick 5-minute ride from Bath Spa train station. Louisa was very responsive and available via phone in case we needed anything. She went above and beyond by stocking the fridge with milk and equipping the kitchen with essentials like salt, sugar, coffee, tea, baking paper, and cleaning supplies. The house was immaculately clean, with fresh towels ans bathroom supplies provided. My family and I felt completely at home and her hospitality made my graduation completely seamless and truly memorable. I highly recommend this Airbnb and I would absolutely return the next time I visit Bath.

This is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views from the outside terrace. This accommodation had everything we needed and was very convenient for visiting local attractions such as Wells and Cheddar Gorge. Carol was excellent at communicating and very helpful when we needed to change our booking due to personal circumstances. Thank you for a great stay Carol and the delicious complimentary cream tea you left for us. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to family and friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights in this charming barn conversion, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The facilities were top-notch and eco-conscious, which I truly appreciated. Penny, the host, was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a minor issue upon arrival, she resolved it quickly and with genuine apologies, ensuring my stay was comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Ty Cariad was a cosy and peaceful, exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of charm and lovely little touches. Beautiful views. The bathtub was very cool, (room for 2!) we had great fun stargazing in the warm water in the wintery evenings. The cabin itself was cosy and the wood burner kept us lovely & warm after exploring the beautiful beaches nearby.

Well what can I say but the cabin is amazing loved it . The animals made the whole experience extra special the cabin itself is great had everything you can think of( home from home) and more . Plenty of space, and also a electric blanket if needed . We had a lovely log burner tv and WiFi and also a firepit outside on the decking which was under cover and animals to entertain us especially gwen the goat , she's fab . Wanted to stay longer and carole the host is lovely so friendly and welcoming . Definitely recommend everyone to stay here you won't be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of staying at David’s charming cottage for a weekend getaway to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was beyond perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene surroundings. Nestled by a babbling brook and surrounded by towering trees, the cottage offered the ideal peaceful retreat we were looking for. The interior was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to enjoy morning coffee while soaking in the natural beauty. We particularly loved the proximity to walking trails, allowing us to explore the gorgeous Welsh countryside. David was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to celebrate this special occasion.

Great place to relax for a weekend. Will definitely visit again

We had a fantastic stay at Edmund's place. The cabin was perfect for a quiet weekend away, and had everything you could need. There were cooking supplies, pots and pans, and the oven was modern and worked well, so we had no issues making a meal when we arrived quite late in the evening. Otherwise, the cabin was incredibly cosy and comfortable. When we arrived, the log fire had already been lit and the cabin was still nice and warm. The decor was all very cosy and made us feel right at home. The views in the morning were also beautiful- perfect for having breakfast and taking in the view. Thanks Edmund for a lovely weekend!

Hot tub was lovely, perfect size for 2, bed was super comfy, amazing host. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

From start to finish it was wonderful stay. So welcoming and cozy the cabins everything was just perfect for our weekend get away. Sybil was brilliant with directions and made sure we were sorted upon arrival. Cabin was charm and cozy bed was comfy and fresh hot tub was perfect. Wonderful walks around the forest and cabins. Will be booking again see you soon as a soon to be family of 3 ☺️
