A day like a gift (Welcoming you in the forest, Minjoo Mountain)

'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

The casita has a private adjoining outdoor bathroom with compost toilet and hot shower. We are off grid, we have solar power and pure spring water. The casita is next to a large, outdoor kitchen and surrounded by lush nature. Take a hike down to our creek or epic river w/big waterfalls and pools or a hot bath in our earthen tub after a massage

Mother Earth 'Coral' Hogan (#1)

You will love our place for its prime location of MonumentValley (10 minute drive to the park) and being hosted by a local native family eager to share our culture and highlights of things to see n do in Monument Valley. Our hogan has a power outlet for lighting, charging devices, or to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. Wifi is available, but not guaranteed-therefore not charged. Cozy Eco Cabin - Off Grid - Connected to Nature

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

We are 4.3 km (7 minutes) from the city center. Located on the site next to our house on Linha Ávila Alta 2090, all paved route. The house is handcrafted, with a green roof and large garden. It accommodates 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children, 1 bedroom (double bed and sofa bed), 1 bathroom, kitchen equipped with minibar, stove, microwave, electric coffee maker, grill and utensils. Bed and bath linens are also available, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity.
