Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Hébergement insolite dans l'ambiance "hobbit" niché au fond d'un jardin sauvage avec vue sur la ville. L'accès se fait par un chemin de randonnée (pentu). Le logement se compose d'un séjour avec cheminée, une petite cuisine, une alcôve pour la chambre, une petite salle de bain, une terrasse avec la vue sur la vallée et la ville (à 1km), et nouveauté, un bain chauffé au bois (hors été) Les bougies et la musique sont à disposition pour l'ambiance Idéal séjour en amoureux ou moment hors du temps!

Inspirados nos contos de J.R.R Tolkien construímos uma Toca Hobbit lindal e hospedamos casais de "todos os reinos"! Venham também! Incluso o café da manhã para 2 pessoas, entregue na porta da Toca. No pet's. "Não era uma toca desagradável, fria e úmida, cheia de restos de minhoca e cheiro de lodo, tão pouco uma toca seca, vazia e arenosa, sem nada em que se sentar e o que comer! Casa Igarapé: Eco cabana em terra crua e aço

A Casa Igarapé é uma cabana ecológica no pé da Serra de Igarapé, feita com terra crua, aço, madeira e cerâmica. O refúgio se integra ao ambiente: da varanda ou do spa você tem vista aberta para as colinas, com intenso pôr do sol e céu estrelado sem as luzes da cidade. Tudo é silêncio, quebrado só por tucanos e siriemas. Boa para trabalho remoto com concentração. A Holyhousebrazil deseja que o hóspede viva a experiência de se sentir próximo à natureza, na tranquilidade da Serra do Japi. Por este motivo, as nossas hospedagens não possuem TV, e nosso público alvo são casais. O intuito é tirarem esses dias para conversar, relaxar, ler um bom livro e contemplar a Serra do Japi.
