Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Munich

We had a lovely time here. Andrea was very friendly and helpful, even had a few things I the fridge when we arrived - thanks again for the beer :) The place is as described, very cute, has everything you need and was big enough for the 4 of us. Good location too! Andrea also has some great records if you’re into that kind of thing ;) Thanks again, and my highest recommendation for this place!

Markus’ stunningly modern and spacious apartment is in a terrific neighborhood that was perfect for our nine-day stay in Munich.  From my first contact with Markus nine months ago to the day I left, he was an ideal host. He responded fast with any requests and even delivered patio furniture two days into our stay. The Apartment: The apartment is very big and sunny. It is extraordinarily immaculate and ideally laid out. The furniture was chic and modern and extremely comfortable. Although the bedroom and living room were one continuous space, nonetheless, there was a judicious separation of the two. The kitchen was well fitted out for simple dining.  As we were there in the summer, we used the patio a lot, which was a plus.  The bathroom is large with outstanding water pressure in a superb shower.   The TV screen was large and the Internet was fast and reliable.  The Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a very pleasant residential area populated mostly with young families with children.  There were plenty of food shops in the area – we tended to use Tengelmann Supermarket on Stuntzstrasse for most foods. And what a pleasure it was to walk three minutes to Bäckerei Schmidt on Stuntzstrasse  each morning (closed on Sunday) for fresh rolls for breakfast.  We particularly liked the Saltzstahns—rolls with caraway seeds and salt.  The U-bahn stop, Bohmerwaldplatz, is only a seven-minute walk. Many of the apartments in the complex were rented to college students who loved to talk and play music in the evening. Though it could have been noisy, it was not for us. In fact, the extensive common lawn at the back had many songbirds. Kudos to Markus for allowing this great place to be part of the Airbnb. 

It was very convenient to stay here for three nights, both in the location and the proximity to the supermarket.It can accommodate at least six people with four beds at the same time.The only thing to note is the need to go to the common area across the street to take a bath for a fee, which is slightly inconvenient in the winter.In summary, it is definitely suitable for a car ride.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Birgit was so sweet and rebooked us to apartment 10, which has a large balcony with great mountain views. The kitchen is super equipped, the apartment is large and with plenty of storage space. You felt like home straight away. Parking is available in front of the door. You can start hiking directly from the property. Two supermarkets are only 5 minutes away by car and restaurants within walking distance. All in all, a very great Easter weekend. We'll be back for sure and then test the sauna and ping pong table.

Incredibly inviting and well mannered. Wolfger was always happy to help when I needed help in some way with acclimating to living in Munich. Always invited me to eat with him. A kind soul that made my first month in Munich and incredibly warm welcome.

The best thing about this accommodation is its host, Martin. So nice and kind young man who made our stay wonderful and made us feel like we were in our home. Martin's home is beautiful, comfortable, stylishly arranged and very clean. It have beautiful garden which gives you a place to fully enjoy in the nature and sun, while the spa center a minute away, gives this home six stars. There are many shops and cafes in the area, and it takes half an hour to get to the center of Munich. Visit Martins ovely home and enjoy as a king. I know we will soon again. I’ve written reviews of Adrian’s place before but it’s worth repeating that he’s is a wonderful host, and the place suits my needs perfectly.

We had three wonderful nights in this fantastic apartment! The idyllic, quiet location invites you to relax, yet there are many excursions, shopping and a great bakery nearby. The apartment is cozy, modern and spotlessly clean. Especially the well stocked kitchen and hot tub have enriched our stay. The terrace and the well-kept garden invited you to linger – with breathtaking views of the Alps! The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and gave great tips about the area. Communication was quick and easy. We will be happy to come back!

From the moment we met Patrick and Amelie, they were very personable and welcoming. They walked us through the entire house, which exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures on the website. The location is very close to the train station, with great access to local amenities throughout the Munich area such as restaurants and Oktoberfest. They gave us great recommendations such as the Deutsches museum and their favorite restaurants, and transportation to get there. The beautiful balcony sitting off the edge of the kitchen was something we used every day. A really nice touch was that upon arriving, they offered us a bottle of wine and snacks. We immediately felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely, large apartment in a beautiful village. Clean and modern, and excellent host!

The apartment was very cozy, especially with the fireplace. we had a great stay.

Our stay was PERFECT! - The house was even better than expected! Plenty of space, big kitchen, a great layout, and kid friendly. - The location was excellent. We had a slight hesitation about not being right in the city center, but the tradeoff for a great house with plenty of space where our group could be together was well worth it! The S2 stop was a 7 minute walk from the house and was super convenient for getting into the city. We didn't take an uber/taxi once during our stay! - Moritz and Janka were super friendly, informative, and flexible. You can't ask for better hosts! I highly recommend a stay here if you are travelling to the great city of Munich and want a comfortable and convenient home base.

We had a great week stay at the location. Three days of business, four days of tourism. It was conveniently located near my meetings, and the train down to the tourist area (and everywhere else in Munich) was within walking distance from the house. The house had a great living room, kitchen, and there were nice rooms on the second and third floor. (I would not recommend this for folks with mobility issues since it has a staircase that is almost a spiral staircase). The room on the third floor bed would have been tight for two people, but was perfect for me, the second floor bedroom was perfect for two. The host was super responsive and let us check in early and stay late at no extra charge. Check out was simple. We received local recommendations, and enjoyed our stay. If you are staying in hot weather, be forewarned that there isn't air conditioning and the third floor can be warm. It ended up being cool, and I was able to open up the windows so it was pleasant.

Easy check-in via key box. Spacious house, beds were made and plenty of towels available. We were only there for one night and left in the morning. I can't say anything about the kitchen equipment.

Our stay was great for the 8 of us. We found the accommodation cozy & really felt very comfortable. Harald was very nice, relaxed and gave us good recommendations for the area. For our 3-day mini ski vacation, it was also really fine that the next ski lift in Scheffau (beautiful ski resort) was only about 30 minutes away. We will be happy to be back next year. Katharina has a nice place in a good location and is very responsive. The fact that this seems to be her primary residence makes it a bit difficult at times to know what you can and cannot use, but she was a very reasonable and understanding person when miscommunication occurred.

Everything as described. Good location, very helpful communication. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Achim and Elena’s beautiful home in Eching, Munich—not just once, but twice during our trip! We loved the property so much that we stayed from December 17-23 and returned again from January 6-11. Both Achim and his wife Elena were fantastic hosts. Elena greeted us during our first stay, which made us feel very welcomed right from the start. During our second stay, their thoughtfulness truly stood out—they graciously left meat in the fridge for us, knowing it was a holiday in Munich and supermarkets would be closed. This kind gesture went above and beyond and made us feel very cared for. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We highly recommend this beautiful property and would love to stay here again during a future visit to Munich!
